review on Mamma Mia

Its funny when people around me have issues with Bollywood films but loved Mamma Mia The Movie so much. HAHA. I know la there's a difference between musicals and bollywood flms but still. Hmm.

Anyway, thanks to Nuffnang, i got to watch this musical a few days ago in GSC 1 Utama with a whole bunch of bloggers. =)

A movie that have a rather low rank in the overseas, and was brought into Malaysia 1 month late with lots of musics in it, that was in my mind before i watch this movie.

The movie starts with a song which goes like this : i have a dream~

Wonderful i love that song. Good. The main storyline was quite clear that a women's daughter is in search of his dad and have invited 3 guys to her wedding herself without notifying her mother. That you are able to watch it in movie trailers as well.

When the next few times the actors/actress started singing out of no where, i opened my eyes widely and sat there feeling a bit crappy. I'm not a big fan of ABBA and well a musical like this isnt one of the top of my movie list as well so thats why i felt so.

Most of the time you see the old ones singing and dancing and if there are young ones, the young hunks and chicks doing so, maybe it would be a more comfortable scene for me. But weird as it seems, as the movie goes on and on with the storyline developing, i begin to feel that this movie is nice. Its weird i know but i cant deny, the songs by ABBA are really NICE, and i kind of accepted the dancing and singing of the old peeps.

At the end of the day, its a bout friends and family, the relationships, finding your roots love and caring. The ending of the movie was totally unpredictable and i somehow like it haha. and so, at the end of the day, i did enjoy watching this movie. If you ask me whether its worth watching in the cinemas, i would tell u YES if you're watching on Wednesday on RM6. Hehe.
