Insane Saturday

It was totally INSANE!! I started my Saturday with like just 4 hours sleep waking up around 5AM+ to go get my girl all the way from Subang.

To head to one of the most important event in my life.

My Graduation Day. I'm officially very powderful graduating with a Bachelor Of Science Degree don't play play!! ROAR!
*will make a more detail post on this haha

Had an awesome lunch with family as well as my girl. Sorry to the few DGMB-ians as well as some Coursemates that i couldn't go out and hang out with you all after the convocation. =(

Anyways, time was ticking pretty fast and it was already 4PM when we left with a stomach full of food from lunch. Sent the GF back home with limited time for her to get ready as she have a wedding dinner to attend at night.

and AT THE SAME TIME, i have another wedding dinner to attend. LOL. Managed to sent her to the destination on time and headed to my destination for May's wedding.

Had quite a few things to think about throughout the wedding dinner especially when they displayed the specially made video slides/clips. Oh and i attended the wedding with Andrew & Jason. and i found out that i have 2 other friends attending the same wedding. Pretty funny finding it out.

The later night was spent at Zouk for a combine birthday bash of Jessica & Evelyn. Was at Velvet if you're a Zouk regular where at the same time, Edison Chen, Sam Lee was at Zouk Main Room.

and seriously, the amount of people there was like O.O. The queue on all lanes were freaking long even when it's past midnight with lots of females there which i think was there because of the Scandalous Hong Kong Celebrity.

There were more people there compared to when Zouk have their 5th Anniversary!! Crazy earthlings.

If you were wondering, i didn't manage to see either of the FUIYO Hong Kong artist because the event there at Zouk Main Room was an exclusive one. Can't get in and didn't bother much to get in either.

Heard that the girls were staring and idolizing Edison the whole time and Sam Lee's spinning was pretty good.

Oh and back to the main thing for some what!!?? 30 of us bloggers there for the combined party, there were lots of hilarious scenes!! Evelyn konked out after 2 glass and Jessica was extremely high during the first half of the night acting like Lady Gaga. Making us going Gah Gah Gah Gah the whole night. Haha.

I was happy at the end of the day.

Happy because i finally graduated!!!
Happy because i know May found the love of her life!!
Happy because i attended a freaking funny birthday party!

=)

Awesome!
*oh and i heard that the PJ Challenge Blogger's Karnival at Jaya33 was pretty boring wor. Really? Hmmm.

Joash & May's Wedding

Just one day before my birthday, i attended a wedding. Joash & May's wedding dinner. xD

One of the few peeps whom i've known for ages and finally they decided to be together for the rest of their lives, its a night filled with joy.

and FYI, the wedding dinner i attended was pretty different compared to the normal Yaaaammmmmm Seeeenggggggg wedding dinner where most Chinese are familiar with.

there was a worship session!

YES, a worship session HEHEHE. After the worship session, the groom sang a song for the bride and it was a very very sweet moment!! =)

Joash singing a song by David Tao.

while he was singing, May came up and as usual, the kids were the ones who kept everyone smiling and laughing where the whole place were filled with joy.

The bride's dad passed his daughter to the groom and i shall let the next few pictures do the talking on what happened next. xD

It was a joyous moment for the both of them as it is the day they exchange vows and promised to be together taking care of each other. Nice.

They signed and it is official.

The Cake.

While the dishes were served, there're a few programs like youths from their church's youth group coming out to present some songs to them entertaining the crowd.

and there's one part where the couple came out to perform a duet. A pretty sweet one.

The Couple Dancing.

and there's one thing in the wedding. I met lots of long lost friends, many of whom i've lost contact with and am glad that i get to see them again. Reminds me of some old time memories many years back. lolx.

Now that they're married, i wish that God would bless them and provide them in the future as they will be together for the rest of their lives. A really long period where it involves many many many things. Definitely hard, but its possible with God in their lives. *smiles*

to Joash & May...

Congrats!

So now among the 3 families, there're 2 weddings in 2 families, each one, Lemuel and Joash. HAHA. Which means that my family didn't have one yet. Gosh. I doubt i'll have one in recent years. Yea, in my case, its a pretty sad one. Maybe i should blog about it next time. On second thought, Maybe not. Lmao. =D

Now?

I'm looking forward to the wedding of this girl in the picture above. Haha.

Year 2009!

Bad News Good News

The world seems to be against quite a number of people recently. I've mentioned about a friend's resignation as well as another friend's breakup in my previous post and just today i found out that another friend's gmail and paypal account got hack and some transaction nearly went out from the paypal account, not to mention the hacker almost got the access to my friend's blog.

I didn't go further deeper into each of every person's problem above as i don't really have the time to really sit down and talk about it with each of them with my ongoing research in process. =(

Bad news ends here and here comes the good news. =D

The good news is i received a mail yesterday informing about an engagement as well as a wedding that is in planning to happen in December this year. Just one day before my birthday. Sweet. It was one of my fellow PK, someone whom i knew since childhood times, Joash Chan. He proposed to his girlfriend on the 20th last month.

Gosh i envy them so much, first it was Lemuel now its Joash. Both of them getting married before 30. So much of craziness out of PKs. My girl jokingly asked when is my turn as last time my family + lemuel's family + joash's family were quite close, but both of us knew the answer in our heart. Sigh.
*i am so going to attend their wedding!!

Anyway,

Another good news is i received my first ever cheque from Nuffnang. It was just yesterday i got it from my mailbox. No complaints at all, Nuffnang process it as fast as how they've explained in their FAQ, i clicked cash out at the end of August 2008 and within 2 months time i got my cheque and i've bank in the cheque just a few hours ago. =D

How much did i earn? Nah, it wasn't important but a few of you guys must be quite surprise as this is the only first time i got a cheque from Nuffnang, joshuaongys wor!!! Yes this is the first cheque i received from Nuffnang and its not a joke or what. I'm not such a big time blogger as you think ThankYou!! =)

I'm just one small little blogger under Nuffnang who's really thankful of what came to me all these while through Nuffnang be it indirectly or directly. Some free movie screenings, some gatherings with laughters and joy, many new friends-close ones as well as not-so-close ones and etc.

So this post acts as one small little testimonial for other bloggers to read and know that Nuffnang is really taking care of the bloggers under them.

Hope they will continue to grow and become bigger in the future BUT don't dominate the market like STREAMYX yea =P and well of course, hope Nuffnang will provide me with more moolah in the future teeheeheehee.

Thanks to the people working @ Nuffnang.

Back to research.........

Getting Married on a Plane

I know this is random, but i cant stop it!! I just felt like blogging about this.

My friend just showed me this which is on the SinChew Newspaper Website.

London, England 5 August 2008

1000 Feet above sea level...

3 planes

The wedding of Katie Hodgson and Darren McWalters

Bride on left most plane
Pastor in the middle plane conducting the wedding
Groom on the right most plane

“I ask you therefore, will you love her, honor and keep her and be faithful to her so long as you both shall live?” Bringham yelled.

“I will!” McWalters yelled back.

ain't this WONDERFUL??

To me this is the coolest wedding ever!!

Not everyone dare to do this OK!! Not even me, or i would say i do not have the money to have such wedding also. =X

To me, wedding is one occasion of a lifetime. That means that there can only be a wedding for one person(well unless your spouse cheated on you/died). The idea of divorcing with the other party shouldn't be in both minds for the rest of their lives once they get married. They should be committed to each other, tolerating each other and solve the problems that come along the way. Solving it NOT BY divorcing.
"
"Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Hebrews 13:4
"
To find someone who can click with you is hard, to find someone who can click with you and WANTS to be with you the whole life is even harder, to find someone who can do those and love you whole heartedly putting aside the bad things on you, to find someone who can really spent time being with you and facing everything with you be it happy or sad.
"
'And that a man will leave his father and mother, and be forever united to his wife. The two shall become one - no longer two, but one in matrimony! And no man may divorce what God has joined together'.
Matthew 19:5-6
"
Its an AMAZING life time experience altogether. I'm not in that position yet, but i do hope i can be there somewhere in the future. Its not and its never easy to get there.

and YES i strongly object polygamy!! Its pretty crappy for one person to have more than 1 person in his/her heart. So... yea..

Enjoy your day peeps!!~

my experience to a Malay-Style Wedding

2 weeks ago, i went to a wedding

my cousin uncle's wedding

it was a Malay-Styled wedding where they held it at the female side's house...

an Malay-Styled open house wedding...

YES!! my cousin-uncle married a Malay girl!! to be exact, a Malay + Chinese girl... her mother is a Chinese where her father is a Malay.. =)

it is interesting.. at least to me...

i went to weddings in restaurant, hotels and churches before, but open house with many temporary tents outside of the house, NO!! so i was a bit excited haha..

Chinese weddings are full of red stuffs everywhere, Malay weddings on the other hand are full of green stuffs!!

everything also green!!! =)

there's this guy barbeque-ing the chickens outside of the tents

my grand-aunty and grand-uncle =)

inside the house, there's little place they set up for the wedding ceremony

and the picture of the ceremony itself

take two

the couple getting their blessings from the bride's mother

the couple getting their blessings from the bride's father

and they coming out from the house

the whole wedding event started around noon (i think) till evening that day

i had my lunch, a quite special one i would say...

the chicken you saw earlier in this post

sticks of prawns on pineapple

and sticks of taufu on pineapple

my family + my relatives

my relatives + the other side of the family

they themselves and their own family members

well, its quite a special experience for me as i have not been to a wedding like this before... one thing i was quite bothered on that day is the weather, its extremely hot that day and i sweat like nobody's business....

even the children there got "du - lan"!! get what i mean?? stupid weather...

anyways, hope they will last forever then =)
