MERDEKA TRAIN PARTY!Its all about <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia</span>. 3 main parties, one wicked idea and here comes a colorful day filled with sweats plus lots of walking. It was the <span style="font-weight: bold;">Merdeka Train Party</span> that i was talking about. On the <span style="font-weight: bold;">31st of August 2009</span>, a bunch of 200+ future leaders of <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia </span>gathered together and did something to show the world or at least the whole <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia </span>that we can still be united achieving a same objective.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty12.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty3.jpg" /><br /></div><br />The plan was to fully or more specifically partially decorate the interior of a train with the props provided to celebrate this very significant date for us Malaysians. The independence day that is.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty-2.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty1.jpg" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">Though the exact meeting time is at 2pm, the usual 30 minutes late magic that happens all the time was clearly not working on the day itself. Instead, people started gathering since 1.30pm.<br /><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty2.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty4.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty5.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Soon enough, there were short briefing sessions where everyone gets a set of instructions. 7 teams in total where <a href="http://zainhd.com/">ZaidHD</a> & <a href="http://nikicheong.com/">NikiCheong</a> leading the crews with 14 leaders leading every other people in the teams.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty6.jpg" /><br /></div><br />For me myself i was leading team 2 with <span style="font-style: italic;">Diyana</span>, someone i knew back in the trip to <span style="font-style: italic;">Manchester</span> early this year. All of the teams were given instructions to do some serious business in 7 monorail trains. Each trains with 2 compartments. One team One Train.<br /><br />In no time, we transformed the interior of the train from this...<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty7.jpg" /><br /><br />to this!!!<br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty9.jpg" /><br /></div><br />It was at <span style="font-style: italic;">Titiwangsa Monorail station</span> that the train was fully decorated into what you won't normally see daily. Though there were lots of <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysians </span>who got lost having no idea on what are they getting in the whole journey, many of them did smile, cheered and even sang with us!<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty10.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty8.jpg" /><br /></div><br />We shouted <span style="font-weight: bold;">Merdeka </span>from time to time and sang <span style="font-weight: bold;">Happy Birthday</span> Song a couple of times. It was crazy but it is all these little things that unite us all together.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty11.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty13.jpg" /><br /></div><br />There were lots of people saying that there's no more hope for <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia</span>, pointing at the various negative headlines reported every single day by the mainstream media but from what i see, there's still people having lots of faith in the future of <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia </span>keeping the words <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia Boleh</span> by their mouths.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty24.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty15.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/2009MerdekaTrainParty14.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Through out the different stops where passengers getting in and out the train, i observed that there were the elder ones who smiled happily looking at the decorations, some even playing with the balloons and such singing along with us shouting <span style="font-style: italic;">Merdeka</span>. Not only it was disturbing, it was quite "<span style="font-weight: bold;">DUH</span>".<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie7.jpg" /><br /></div><br />With the award winning actor<span style="font-style: italic;"> Aaron Kwok</span> <span style="visibility: visible;" id="main"><span style="visibility: visible;" id="search">郭富城 acting as Ling in this movie</span></span>, i was quite confident that this movie won't go any wrong anyhow.<br /><br />That was before i entered the cinema.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie4.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie5.jpg" /></div><br />Everything was pretty well done, from the start of the whole mysterious horrifying scene, the various strong characters that were built and shown, to where it shows that every single clue and evidence points that <span style="font-style: italic;">Ling </span>is the murderer in the serial killing cases.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie6.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Everyone was kept in the dark about the truth and i was busy guessing who was the actual killer as i was pretty sure that <span style="font-style: italic;">Ling </span>won't be the killer himself.<br /><br />and when the movie reaches till the last few stages, i was right!! <span style="font-weight: bold;">BINGO!! </span>but the whole twist to the storyline, how the truth was revealed and what really happened was all pretty laughable. <span style="font-weight: bold;">It was like a big joke, imagine like your bf/gf of several years suddenly tell you that she/he never loved you before or your parents revealed to you that they're not your biological parents.</span> Darn.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie3.jpg" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">I thought that it was pretty stupid that the storyline turned out to be that way where i felt totally speechless at the end of the movie. You'll understand what i'm saying if you watch it.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie2.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie1.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Good thing that <span style="font-style: italic;">Chang Chun-Ning </span>張鈞甯 was in the movie, an actor i liked since she got popular through the series <span style="font-weight: bold;">The Hospital 白色巨塔</span> which i've followed previously.<br /></div></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img style="width: 270px; height: 406px;" src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie8.jpg" /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/aaronkwokmurderermovie.jpg" width="300" /><br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;">SONNY BEST LA!!! 仔仔很屌!!!</span><br /><br />Go watch this movie<span style="font-weight: bold;"> IF AND ONLY IF </span>you're a big fan of <span style="font-style: italic;">Aaron Kwok </span><span style="visibility: visible;" id="main"><span style="visibility: visible;" id="search">郭富城 bah if not don't waste your time. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Like seriously.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">My Rating for this movie is 5/10</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">*3 for Aaron's acting, 1 for </span></span></span></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Chang Chun-Ning 張鈞甯 and 1 more for </span></span><span style="font-style: italic;font-size:85%;" >仔仔!! </span><span style="font-style: italic;font-size:85%;" >仔仔 FTW!!<br />**oh and i think Aaron can be the HK version of Joker. This one near my house is quite an old shop where i would normally go to and get my weekly dosage of comic books.<br /><br />Yeh i used to frequent that place a lot heading back home spending my time lying down on my bed where i do less activities that involves going online.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/comicsandme.jpg" /><br /></div><br />and i must say, i felt awesomely satisfied when i was reading the comics i got recently. The infamous <span style="font-style: italic;">Bak Kut Teh</span> place that claims that you don't have to get all the way to Klang to get your dosage of <span style="font-style: italic;">BKT</span>, just go to <span style="font-style: italic;">Ah Sang </span>and you'll get it.<br /><br />and with the various food reviews on the internet by fellow foodies, this very place providing <span style="font-style: italic;">BKT </span>will at least be at a certain standard that is.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/ahsangbakkutteh.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/ahsangbakkutteh1.jpg" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">There's lotsa people there when we reached there and we were lucky to find an empty table i suppose. Took a few pictures before we started. and here comes the food.<br /></div><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/ahsangbakkutteh4.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/ahsangbakkutteh5.jpg" /><br /></div><br />We ordered the standard portion of BKT for 6 person with almost everything available in it except for the special parts, the intestines that is. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Pork ribs, Pork meat(</span><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">fat and less fat ones</span></span><span style="font-weight: bold;">), Golden Mushrooms, Fu Chok and along with it is a plate of Sang Choi.</span><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">*yau char kwai sold out at that time already. =(</span></span><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/ahsangbakkutteh9.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/ahsangbakkutteh6.jpg" /><br /></div><br />The Bak Kut Teh there weren't as good as most people described, the herbal taste wasn't that strong as how i preferred but then the meats were quite nice, soft and tender to my liking where the <span style="font-style: italic;">Sang Choi </span>was just nice for me. The price per person is RM11 and we had a plate of <span style="font-style: italic;">Sang Choi </span>with a few more extra bowls of rice so it was around RM13 for a person.<br /><br />Still fine with me as i don't frequent BKT that much haha but seriously if you ask me i would prefer the BKT at <span style="font-style: italic;">Kepong </span>or at <span style="font-style: italic;">Jalan Ipoh</span> as this one @<span style="font-style: italic;"> Sungai Way</span> isn't way better than the 2 mentioned ones that is nearer to my place. <span style="font-weight: bold;">=)</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/ahsangbakkutteh10.jpg" /><br /><br />Do try it out if you're around that place then!<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">No.531, Jalan SS9A/12Seri Setia, </span> <span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />Sungei Way Petaling Jaya</span> <span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />03-7876 2299</span><br /></div>joshuaongyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02615053056847722934noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10167798.post-55614340107233375132009-08-24T23:42:00.005+08:002009-08-26T11:57:19.622+08:00Fast Update #75 第一代「古惑仔」鄭伊健和陳小春重出江湖!<blockquote><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:180%;" >"</span><br /><span style="font-size:100%;">6月17日消息:第一代「古惑仔」鄭伊健和陳小春重出江湖,趁著古惑潮今年回暖,合作拍攝全新古惑片. 陳小春與鄭伊健自1996年合作《古惑仔之人在江湖》,短短兩年共演五部古惑系列電影,勁收億元票房,之後「陳浩南」與「山雞」退隱江湖。相隔十三年,小春與伊健再拍古惑片《飛沙風中轉》。<br /></span><div style="text-align: right;"><span style="font-size:100%;">東方網<br /></span><span style="font-size:180%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">"</span></span><br /></div></div></blockquote><span style="font-weight: bold;">Translation:</span><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">The first generation of Hong Kong Triad movies, Ekin Cheng and Jordan Chan is making a comeback. Not to mention having a few other personal stuffs i have to deal with.<br /><br />but I'm really glad that in these days, i still have people around that i could talk freely with and share stuffs that's a little bit more personal. These people will just get lesser and lesser along the years.<br /><br />I didn't even expect to get some hometown specialties from a fellow ex-college mate.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/20090822weekend7.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Thanks to <span style="font-style: italic;">YewJoe </span>for that.<br /><br />Compared to the eventful weekends i had sometimes, this very weekend was quite a quiet one for me. A peaceful one, spending more times with friends from other circle.<br /><br />Going out to yumcha sessions, playing 2 games of Dota on a <span style="font-style: italic;">Friday</span> night.<br /><br />Then its Saturday already, it feels good playing basketball again after being absent for almost a month, not to say i'm pretty good in it, i enjoyed the run and sweat seeing the people again after being <span style="font-weight: bold;">MIA </span>for a month.<br /><br />then, there's this stupid event which i don't event want to elaborate on attending it with a few of the usual. Most stupid event ever i call that.<br /><br />Watched the match between <span style="font-style: italic;">Manchester United</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">Wigan </span>during the night.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/20090822weekend.jpg" /><br /></div><br />It was quite a roller coaster ride watching the match resulting in 5 goals scored by <span style="font-style: italic;">ManUtd </span>in the second half with a sucky first half. Nothing much to boast about being a <span style="font-style: italic;">ManUtd </span>fan as its only <span style="font-style: italic;">Wigan </span>where <span style="font-style: italic;">ManUtd </span>lost to <span style="font-style: italic;">Burnley </span>in the last match but heck, it was still nice watching them scoring.<br /><br />Watched <a href="http://joshuaongys.blogspot.com/2009/08/review-on-laughing-gor-turning-point.html">this movie</a> later in the night. <span style="font-weight: bold;">AGAIN</span>.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/20090822weekend3.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/20090822weekend5.jpg" /><br /></div><br />and the next thing i know, we're up on <span style="font-style: italic;">Genting </span>already. Somewhere i wished to go and relax since end of last month.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/20090822weekend4.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Had dim sum for breakfast after the random <span style="font-style: italic;">Genting </span>trip. That's about it, my weekend. At some certain extend, i'm a happy person and having fun in life, but at the same time, i'm kinda struggling when it comes to reality, breaking out from the whole picture and going to the next picture seems so hard to me at the moment.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/20090822weekend6.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/20090822weekend2.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;">I guess things will just get right and be ok at the end of the road right?<br />Right?<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/20090822weekend1.jpg" /><br /><br />and yea, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Happy Birthday to you! </span><span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">=)</span></span><span style="font-size:85%;"><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">*and all the best to a friend who's going to Bangladesh to work tmr, though its just 2 weeks.</span></span><br /></div>joshuaongyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02615053056847722934noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10167798.post-46439469536116981192009-08-21T17:01:00.001+08:002009-08-21T17:03:01.105+08:00review on Laughing Gor 之变节 : Turning PointIt was just last night i watched this movie with a couple of friends at <span style="font-style: italic;"></span><span style="font-style: italic;">Tropicana Mall</span>.<span style="font-style: italic;"></span> The first day of screening for this movie in <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia</span>.<br /><br />Before this, i've been following a specific police trainee 学警 drama series by <span style="font-style: italic;">Hong Kong TVB </span>all these years from<span style="font-style: italic;"> On the First Beat (学警出更) </span>to <span style="font-style: italic;">The Academy (学警雄心) </span>to <span style="font-style: italic;">E.U (学警狙击) </span>and there's this character call <span style="font-weight: bold;">Laughing Gor (Laughing哥) </span>in the last mentioned series <span style="font-style: italic;">E.U</span> which captured the hearts of millions of viewer all over the world and i even blog about<a href="http://joshuaongys.blogspot.com/2009/03/tvb-drama-eu-laughing-kor-facebook.html"> a group on facebook created just for the character</a> itself having more than 100 thousand users joining it.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/laughinggorturningpoint5.jpg" /><br /></div><br />The infamous character, Laughing Gor with the acting of <span style="font-weight: bold;">Michael Tse 谢天华</span>, a<span style="font-style: italic;"> Hong Kong</span> actor who didn't really shine through out his 20 years of carrier gained instant fame during the broadcast period of the series and almost immediately they decided to film a movie out of the character itself.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/laughinggorturningpoint6.jpg" /><br /></div><br />and the character itself is <span style="font-weight: bold;">NOT </span>the main character in the drama series. LOLx. With 2 award winning best actors along the years <span style="font-style: italic;">黄秋生 Anthony Wong</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">呉鎮宇 Francis Ng</span> who are both well known in <span style="font-weight: bold;">Triads (三合會/黑社会) </span>related film, i must say that this movie is one of the best <span style="font-style: italic;">Hong Kong</span> made <span style="font-style: italic;">Triad </span>film since <span style="font-style: italic;">Internal Affairs 无间道 </span>and i felt that its filmed in a way more similar to the <span style="font-style: italic;">Young & Dangerous 古惑仔</span> movies which i like quite a lot.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/laughinggorturningpoint1.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Though <span style="font-style: italic;">Michael Tse 谢天华</span> is the main character in this movie, i kinda feel that both<span style="font-style: italic;">黄秋生 Anthony Wong</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">呉鎮宇 Francis Ng </span>had more scenes and presented more in this movie itself.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/laughinggorturningpoint2.jpg" /><br /></div><br />It is a movie talking about spies. The police force sending spies into the triads and vice versa with lotsa complications in between. Just like <span style="font-style: italic;">Internal Affairs 无间道, </span>this movie describe a little here and there about the life being a spy betraying people and the dark side of it not able to convert back and lead a normal lives and such.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/laughinggorturningpoint3.jpg" /><br /></div><br />As usual, I won't really talk much about the storyline itself as i would prefer you heading to the cinema to watch it yourself. Its a great movie i think by <span style="font-style: italic;">Hong Kong </span>and of course, there are quite a few parts where its funny and such.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/laughinggorturningpoint.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/laughinggorturningpoint7.jpg" /><br /><br /></div> <span style="visibility: visible;" id="main"><span style="visibility: visible;" id="search">and oh, <span style="font-style: italic;">Fala Chen 陈法拉</span></span></span><span style="font-style: italic;"> </span>was given a role to be <span style="font-weight: bold;">Laughing Gor</span>'s girlfriend in the movie. Good news for all the people out there that like her. Like me. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Haha</span>. I must say that her acting is good in this movie although she's given a smaller role compared by the names mentioned above, i still enjoy watching the movie with her in it.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/laughinggorturningpoint8.jpg" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">At the end of the movie, the <span style="font-weight: bold;">MAIN CHARACTERS</span> in the<span style="font-style: italic;"> Hong Kong</span> Drama series <span style="font-style: italic;">E.U (学警狙击) </span> made a cameo appearance. Though <span style="font-style: italic;">黄秋生 Anthony Wong</span> and <span style="font-style: italic;">呉鎮宇 Francis Ng </span>played quite an important role in this movie, i still think that <span style="font-style: italic;">Michael Tse 谢天华 </span>did his little magic as <span style="font-style: italic;">Laughing Gor</span> in this movie and i still like that character itself with a big smile coming out from the cinema hall.<br /><br />For those who love the drama series and the character itself, you must go and watch this movie, for those who have no idea who's Laughing Gor and what's <span style="font-style: italic;">E.U (学警狙击)</span>, you can still watch this movie as an independent film itself. There are different types of storyline with different time line and history background and such. Some i quit watching after a few episodes where some i'll follow closely and i actually find myself really attracted to a certain type of drama/series. <span style="font-weight: bold;">The ones that are related to basketball.</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/mymvpvalentine.jpg" /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">MVP 情人 My MVP Valentine</span><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/basketballtribe.jpg" /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">篮球部落 Basketball Tribe</span><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/bullfighting.jpg" /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">斗牛要不要 Bull Fighting</span><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/hotshot.jpg" /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">篮球火 Hot Shot</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">Other than <span style="font-style: italic;">One Tree Hill </span>which have a span of a few seasons already which i felt lazy to follow from the start, i've watch a few basketball related drama/series which includes the ones shown above where 3 of them are from <span style="font-style: italic;">Taiwan </span>and 1 from <span style="font-style: italic;">China</span>. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Lolx</span><br /></div></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/buzzerbeat4.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Then, just yesterday, i found this new drama <span style="font-weight: bold;">Buzzer Beat </span>from <span style="font-style: italic;">Japan </span>which is related to basketball as well. Immediately i added all the latest 5 episodes into my download list and finished it all today. I actually find this one very interesting with a much better storyline with <span style="font-weight: bold;">not-so-fake</span> basketball moves.<br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">*all of the drama shown above have lots of scenes that look extremely fake and the storyline is just so so only.</span></span><br /><br /><center><object width="600" height="500"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=6165818&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1"><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=6165818&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=0&color=&fullscreen=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="600" height="500"></embed></object><br />Do watch the video above about the japanese series Buzzer Beat.</center><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/buzzerbeat.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/buzzerbeat2.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Other than that, there's a very complicated relationship among the characters in this drama. There's this girl who's an artistic person with an ambition being a violinist being in a relationship with the coach but secretly like one of the players. There's this another girl who cheated on his boyfriend sleeping with another player in the same basketball team. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Complicated No?</span><br /><br />I enjoyed watching the series thus far with more episodes coming out each Monday, yes its not finish yet and i hope there will be more scenes of basketball games though some of the actors sucked in playing lolx but at least the way on how they film it is good and its not <span style="font-weight: bold;">THAT </span>fake.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/buzzerbeat3.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/keikokitagawa1.jpg" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">and ah, one of the leading actress in this series, Keiko Kitagawa 北川景子 acted in an international film before!!<br /></div></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/keikokitagawa.jpg" /><br />acting as <span style="font-style: italic;">Reiko </span>in <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAuo2KtTqLc">Tokyo Drift</a> <span style="font-weight: bold;">xD</span>.<br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/buzzerbeat1.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/buzzerbeat5.jpg" /><br /><br />Well if you're like me who's interested in basketball related drama/series, do try out this one.<br /><br /><span style="font-size:180%;">BUZZER BEAT!!<br /><br />xD<br /></span></div>joshuaongyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02615053056847722934noreply@blogger.com15tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10167798.post-83277097794775014102009-08-17T22:09:00.001+08:002009-08-17T22:13:45.151+08:00陈奕迅 Eason's Moving On Stage 26 Live In Malaysia @ Sunway Lagoon Surf BeachIt was at the end of the year 2007 that this whole<span style="font-weight: bold;"> Moving On Stage tour</span> started in <span style="font-style: italic;">Hong Kong </span>with <span style="font-style: italic;">Eason 陈奕迅 </span>and the whole team of people <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybix6ZnOii0">going to cities around the world</a> having concerts in <span style="font-style: italic;">Taiwan, Japan, Canada, China, Macau, USA, Malaysia</span> and etc.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-5.jpg" /><br /></div><br />and just yesterday night it was the very last stage of the whole tour that was scheduled within 2 years time. It was the <span style="font-weight: bold;">Eason's Moving On Stage 26 Live In Malaysia @ Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach!!</span><br /><br />All thanks to <span style="font-style: italic;">Chee Hwa</span> who got a free ticket worth RM298, i was at the zone just in front of the stage. The same exact stage for <a href="http://joshuaongys.blogspot.com/2009/08/mtv-world-stage-live-at-malaysia-sunway.html">MTV World Stage Concert the previous day</a>. Smart fellas organizing 2 events 2 days back to back earning money from both sides.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-10.jpg" /><br /></div><br />It was superbly packed when i reached the place. The concert was suppose to start at 8pm and the picture above was taken at around 7.50pm. Duh!<br /><br />I don't really care to line up and you can hate me for that i cut queue and eventually got in faster then 99% of people in the picture above. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Lolx </span>heck the concert started already when i got in, walking the whole long way to the surf beach, its already the 2nd song.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-19.jpg" /><br /></div><br />The whole place was already packed with people holding TM "hands" in the air waving and shouting. I would say that the crowd there would be equivalent to the crowd at <span style="font-weight: bold;">MTV World Stage</span>. Insane!!<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-21.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-8.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-20.jpg" /><br /></div><br />The concert started with songs like <span style="font-style: italic;">K歌之王 </span>and <span style="font-style: italic;">背包</span>, the well known ones by <span style="font-style: italic;">Eason </span>himself.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-17.jpg" /><br /></div><br />After a few songs of his own, <span style="font-style: italic;">Eason </span>started presenting some of the classic songs in <span style="font-style: italic;">Hong Kong</span> music industries, songs by the likes of <span style="font-style: italic;">Jacky Cheung 张学友, Leon Lai 黎明, Leslie Cheung 张国荣 and Aaron Kwok 郭富城 </span>with the titles <span style="font-style: italic;">这个冬天不太冷 </span><span><span style="font-style: italic;">, 我的亲爱, 无心睡眠, 狂野之城</span>.</span> Dancers were surrounding <span style="font-style: italic;">Eason </span>and the crowd went crazy when <span style="font-style: italic;">Eason </span>sang the songs mentioned above. You can view the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K59Ff_0HraY">video</a> posted below recorded by me to see it yourself.<span style="font-weight: bold;"> xD</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-11.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-9.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Eason</span>'s not new in the music industry and i knew that he could sing and such, all these while i only listen to such mainstream <span style="font-style: italic;">Chinese/Cantonese</span> music on my computer and <span style="font-weight: bold;">ONLY </span>in such concert, you could really feel and experience how good one singer is being in an amazing atmosphere where you would automatically move yourself even if you're a shy person inside out.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-16.jpg" /><br /></div><br />It was a few months ago <a href="http://joshuaongys.blogspot.com/2009/05/my-music-universal-new-power-live.html">i first attended a concert</a> by <span style="font-style: italic;">Chinese </span>artists/singers with singers from <span style="font-style: italic;">Taiwan </span>like <span style="font-style: italic;">梁文音 Rachel Liang, 高以爱 Alisa Galper, 神木與瞳 Y2J</span> and that was when i see the obvious difference in <span style="font-weight: bold;">Live Singing and Recording type of Singin</span>g. It was totally different it takes a whole lot more for a singer to sing live in front of massive crowd.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-13.jpg" /><br /></div><br />The famous <span style="font-style: italic;">Hong Kong</span> artists <span style="font-style: italic;">陈奕迅 Eason</span> of course is well known with his singing and such and i wont get surprise that he get to hug the girls receiving a massive reception from the crowd. <span style="font-weight: bold;">xD.</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Anyways, back to the concert...<br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-22.jpg" /><br /><br />there were appreciation sessions,<br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-15.jpg" /><br /><br />there were good performance<br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-1.jpg" /><br /><br />and there's good songs to listen to.<br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-14.jpg" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">Its free for me so i couldn't really complaint much there, though through the videos i watched recorded in other <span style="font-weight: bold;">Moving On Stage </span>concerts in other cities that the performances was better and such, i'm thankful enough that good things like this that come along my way since the <a href="http://joshuaongys.blogspot.com/2009/07/car-accident-fml.html">FML accident</a>.<br /></div></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-3.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalaysia.jpg" /><br /></div><br />I was not there exactly when the concert started but i must say that the concert ended awesomely well. Look at the few pictures below to see if you see what i saw <span style="font-weight: bold;">xD</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-4.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-23.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-6.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/easonsmovingonstage26liveinmalay-7.jpg" /><br /></div><br />If you haven notice it yet, the dancers, band members were taking pictures up on stage during the performances and such <span style="font-weight: bold;">Lolx</span>. Something you rarely see in concerts by western singer/artists. Being in the largest crowd in a pool. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Yah. 20,000 people in a venue that was a surf beach when there's no other events.</span> <span style="font-weight: bold;">xD</span><br /><br />The very first time a <span style="font-weight: bold;">MTV World Stage</span> music event happening in <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia </span>itself. With big names such as <span style="font-style: italic;">Boys Like Girls, Pixie Lott, Raygun, Hoobastank, The All-American Rejects, Kasabian</span> and our very own local band <span style="font-style: italic;"> Estranged</span>. Having to win the passes from <a href="http://twitter.com/thestar_rage">TheStar Rage @ Twitter</a>, i was looking forward to this very weekend going to <span style="font-style: italic;">Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach</span> for this event.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia3.jpg" /><br /><br />It was as early as 2pm i left home heading to <span style="font-style: italic;">Sunway </span>all thanks to <a href="http://nigelais.blogspot.com/">Nigel</a> & <a href="http://angelickelz.blogspot.com/">Kelli</a> for the ride.<br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia11.jpg" /><br /><br />Met up with <a href="http://serpentinegal.blogspot.com/">HsuJen</a>, <a href="http://davidclicks.net/">David/Royalshortness</a> and her sister a.k.a <span style="font-style: italic;">QuirkyPrincess</span><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia6.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia7.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Being not as privileged as the people who got tickets to <span style="font-style: italic;">MoshPit</span>, we walked all the way to <span style="font-style: italic;">Sunway Lagoon</span>'s main entrance before entering <span style="font-weight: bold;">Red Zone</span>, the Surf Beach area where the concert is going to happen.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia8.jpg" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">There were lots of people already at around 4pm and it actually rained for a couple of minutes where everyone started to wear the rain coat given by the sponsors.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia12.jpg" /><br /><br />and i was glad i met up with <span style="font-style: italic;">PekSan</span>!!<br /></div></div></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia10.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Anyways, soon the concert started and everyone was cheering and shouting, jumping and clapping their hands not to mention there were some idiotic morons who threw stuffs on and off during the concert. Hope nobody got hurt. Zzz.<br /><br />Let me just comment a little bit here and there about the performers.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Estranged</span><br />Having a local act being up on stage in an event that is broadcasted in 150 countries makes me proud being a <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysian </span>but of course, obviously, there were more people who support the other performers compared to our local boys. For me i would say that overseas music is at a much higher level than local ones. I can see the big difference when <span style="font-style: italic;">Boys Like Girls</span> performed on stage where i compared on how they play and sing and interacts with the crowd. No Match <span style="font-weight: bold;">AT ALL!</span>.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Boys Like Girls</span><br />I felt pretty strange when not many people turned up on a special appearance of them at <span style="font-weight: bold;">Sony Style - The Curve Damansara</span> just days ago before the <a href="http://joshuaongys.blogspot.com/2009/08/review-on-district-9.html">District 9 premiere</a> and found out that they had lotsa fans here in <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia </span>where everyone was basicly shouting out loud at the first drumbeat. <span style="font-style: italic;">Martin Johnson</span> made the whole crowd go crazy when he started climbing up on one of the stand beside the stage. These guys were good!<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://twitter.com/pixiesongs"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia2.jpg" /></a><br /></div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Pixie Lott</span><br />As sweet and attractive as ever, this 18 year old who emerged into the international scene not long ago was the only female singer performing in this very music event. Having her performing is like adding some different element in this whole event to make it more interesting and i could see that she can really sing and such. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Too bad</span> that the band that was playing looks and sound pretty fake to me, singer can <span style="font-weight: bold;">lipsync </span>and so i call this a<span style="font-weight: bold;"> BANDSYNC</span>.<span style="font-weight: bold;"> It was very obvious that every single song, the sound of the drums were different and the tempo and all were different with the song when the drummer played some parts.</span> Gahhh. Anyhow it was still interesting. All because she's attractive nyahahahahaa. <span style="font-weight: bold;">=D</span><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Raygun & Kasabian</span><br />Alright for the performance from these 2 sides, i was either paying more attention on my extremely tired leg or i was wandering faraway in some unknown realm. Didn't really pay attention on them. Maybe just not my type of music though. I don't mean that they are bad, they both have record selling albums with fans all over the world so i guessed its just me myself. <span style="font-weight: bold;">I just felt bad for Kasabian because they were the last to performed and lots of people already left the scene went The All-American Rejects finished their performance.</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia9.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">The All-American Rejects </span><br />Obviously one of the crowd favourite and one of the best performers in this event itself. I was having a numb leg by then with a sticky body being in a pool of 20,000 people. Everyone should be insanely exhausted already when they came up on stage as its like 4 hours past since the start of the whole event. Instead, everyone, well almost everyone(<span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">except me because i was too tired</span></span>) went ecstatic and jumping crazily. Good performers, good crowd, <span style="font-weight: bold;">NICE</span>!<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Hoobastank</span><br />When most of the people i know who attended this event said that <span style="font-weight: bold;">The All-American Rejects </span>was the best, i thought that <span style="font-weight: bold;">Hoobastank </span>rocks most!! I preferred their music more and of course, they were one of the crowds favourites as well with lots of fans in the event including me myself. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Hoobastank </span>had the crowd going crazy when they played a song with cheers and replies from the crowd shouting: "<span style="font-weight: bold;">GHOST BUSTERS!</span>". <span style="font-weight: bold;">Totally unexpected and awesome at the same time!!</span> Of course, <span style="font-weight: bold;">Hoobastank </span>was<span style="font-weight: bold;"> THE REASON</span> i was looking forward to this event and when the famous sound of the guitar plucking came out, i went <span style="font-weight: bold;">T__T</span>.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia1.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:130%;">HOOBASTANK RAWKS!!<br /></span></div><br />Despite the stupid long intervals between different acts, the RM5 drinks and the rain earlier on, not to mention the amount of time spent standing with stupid people smoking around me having my sore legs, <span style="font-weight: bold;">it was still a good event</span>. I hope that they do bring better acts next time, a <span style="font-weight: bold;">BIG TIME</span> one with lots of record breaking histories behind them and so. Well, many said it sucked but i thought it was good enough. Having to attend this whole thing for free, i won't say it sucked, if you get what i mean. <span style="font-weight: bold;">=)</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i998.photobucket.com/albums/af106/joshuaongys1/MTVWorldStageLiveMalaysia13.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;">All the best to the ones who are cleaning the venue tonight!!<br /><span style="font-style: italic;font-size:85%;" ><span style="font-weight: normal;">*pictures by <a href="http://smashpop.net/">JasonGoh</a>, <a href="http://www.ewinee.com/">Ewin</a>, <a href="http://davidclicks.net">David</a> and <a href="http://angelickelz.blogspot.com/">Kelli</a>.</span></span><br /></div>joshuaongyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02615053056847722934noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10167798.post-24326385454015067012009-08-15T02:38:00.003+08:002009-08-15T02:49:44.110+08:00Bloggers Gone Crazy Past MidnightThe last time i saw a bunch of bloggers gone crazy in the middle of the night was like lotsa months ago earlier this year. <a href="http://joshuaongys.blogspot.com/2009/02/sacks-wan-penyis-wan-wahjainah-and.html">They even got horny and such started talking stuffs about ***</a>.<br /><br />and just only, all of a sudden, there's this random group of bloggers started going crazy on <a href="http://innit.nuffnang.com">Innit</a> chatbox. <span style="font-weight: bold;">AGAIN</span>. <span style="font-weight: bold;">T_T</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/BunchOfCrazyBloggers.jpg" /><br /><br />and because i was freaking hungry, i joined in the craze too.... *<span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">laughs</span></span>*<br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">Yea, as stupid as it seems, we're a bunch of uber-super-sangat-very-很-非常-超级-hyperactive bloggers getting excited this very hour at this very weekend. With that i made a last minute decision to head down all the way south to <span style="font-style: italic;">Singapore</span>.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip8.jpg" /><br /></div><br />and i didn't even know that its around <span style="font-style: italic;">Singapore</span>'s National Day!! Awesome!! Oh and i went down to <span style="font-style: italic;">Singapore </span>alone by myself. <span style="font-weight: bold;">xD</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip14.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip1.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip13.jpg" /><br /></div><br />It was an insane trip i must say, with the awesome public transportation service available there, i went to a couple of places, with my day spent on walking and walking and walking only. Not shopping or anything else but just walking.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip2.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip7.jpg" /><br /></div><br />I was told that most <span style="font-style: italic;">Singaporeans </span>is not in town during the day after <span style="font-style: italic;">Singapore</span>'s National Day and they would go to <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia </span>to shop. True enough, i have 2 friends who's in <span style="font-style: italic;">Singapore </span>being in <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia </span>when i was in <span style="font-style: italic;">Singapore</span>.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip3.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip6.jpg" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">Very much impress with the public transportation service over there, i didn't spend much time waiting and instead had more time to observe the places over there.<br /></div></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip4.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip5.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip9.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Most of the streets were pretty quiet with not much vehicles on the road and i had a great time walking relaxing myself putting almost everything behind my back for a moment. Getting away from reality that is.<br /><br />A big thanks to my girl who's currently in <span style="font-style: italic;">Singapore</span>, it was because of her i felt much more better after going through all the shitty stuffs back in <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia</span>. Of course, if it wasn't because of her, i wouldn't know where and how to go to here and there in <span style="font-style: italic;">Singapore</span>. <span style="font-style: italic;">Laughs</span>.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip18.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip19.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip20.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/joshuaongyssingaporetrip21.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Going to places like <span style="font-style: italic;">Tanjong Pagar, Raffles Place, Orchard, Bugis, City Hall, Espanade, Suntec City, Outram park, Harbour Front, Vivocity, Buona Vista</span> and etc changing trains 8 times and bus for 4 times. I just came back from the screening of <span style="font-style: italic;">District 9</span> at <span style="font-style: italic;">Cineleisure</span>! All thanks to <a href="http://www.sonypictures.my/">Sony Pictures</a>.<br /><br />It was not an ordinary movie, with lots of strong and firm values it in.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview9.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview8.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Not those kinda <span style="font-style: italic;">Aliens </span>invade <span style="font-style: italic;">Earth </span>movie where you would see war declared between both sides and president of US negotiating and such, Nope not those. The whole time line of the story in this movie have a total span of 20+ years with an unknown giant alien aircraft appearing in the sky in <span style="font-style: italic;">South Africa </span>at the start of the movie.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview5.jpg" /><br /><br />The rest of the story i shall leave it to you yourself to go and find out in the cinema. <span style="font-weight: bold;">=)</span><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview3.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Basicly, the themes of this movie are quite well translated and it was pretty much into many hearts i believe when the world is going to watch it when it is officially out.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview.jpg" /><br /></div><br />It was about 2 sides and which sides are you at. The main character of this movie, who was originally on the human side was caught in the middle negotiating on behalf of the humans changed sides later on. Unwillingly of course but there is no other way.<br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">*sounds like Sarah Kerrigan for me. xD if you know who she is</span></span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview2.jpg" /><br /><br /><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview7.jpg" /><br /></div><br />What message does it brings to you, that is up to you to translate then. Hmm.<br /><br />It just reminds me of the political scene of <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia </span>though especially this one person who was once the deputy prime minister of <span style="font-style: italic;">Malaysia</span>. I call him A.I. Lets not start on that then, watch it then you'll get the picture!<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview6.jpg" /><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview4.jpg" /><br /></div><br />Anyways with the way on how they film the gun fights and such with alien weaponry, it was very realistic and i'm sure you'll get <span style="font-weight: bold;">Wow </span>when you watch them. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Of course, siu mui mui and siu di di below the age 18 are advise to be with their parents when they watch it.</span> Its pretty violent i must say. Involve lotsa blood here and there.<br /><br />and for those who are going to watch it, expect a rather dull period at the start of the movie and it would be more and more interested later on. Oh and i must say that not everyone would accept this movie. <span style="font-weight: bold;">=)</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i713.photobucket.com/albums/ww133/joshuaongys/district9moviereview1.jpg" /><br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">My Rating for this movie is 7/10</span>.<br /></div>joshuaongyshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02615053056847722934noreply@blogger.com14
