Dota Tauren Chieftain v6.59b

Got a call one hour ago and i can't go back to sleep since then. Gah.

Anyways, a few hours ago i was playing Dota @ GG and my friend show me this Haha.

Pretty meaningless but heck, it was fun.

it was the latest map v6.59b.

Four totem have to be collected from 4 different locations - Wind, Fire, Earth, Water and the totems need to be placed in the empty area at the top left corner of the map and this will activate the secret of the map, where a BIG Tauren Chieftain will appear.

Top Left Corner!

Don't be stupid and think that you can fight this dude normally. This was what my friends did. They lure the chieftain outta empty area and when the trees appear back, the chieftain will be stuck outside and thus won't be attacking you any more.

Seriously, we have 4 divine rapiers on 3 heroes and it took us a very very long time to hit this dude with 500000 life if i'm not mistaken. Maybe we should get more Cric Item and DR.

Upon death the Tauren Chieftain will drop an item - Axe of the Chieftain
which will add 200 Strength with a skill Chieftain Strike(active)

Nothing Fancy actually and i believe this is not a new thing for those dota regulars. Haha just Random

on a more detail explanation on how to go through all the things mentioned above please go and google for it haha.

Happy Dota-ing!

Blueserver is BACK!! BSv4

Its been ages since i last played Dota over the net on my this very computer at home, accessing Blueserver the many times each day, sending/accepting various nudges and online msges on MSN among my group of diploma college mates to login BS.

I was a hardcore Dota player at home during my diploma years 2-3yrs ago. Though i still play it early this year, the frequency of me playing it at home decreases with me going out more and more in the past few months and at last i stopped playing the game followed with the closing down of Blueserver. =(

I was shocked to hear the news 2 months ago. I've started playing Dota since the early days of the creation of Blueserver, in fact i learned how to combine items and use different characters in Blueserver itself.

Since then, i've been playing it like mad day and night and i'm pretty sure i played average 10 games per day during in one specific period at the peak of my crazy days back then.

Anyway, the closing down of Blueserver brought disappointment to the players of Blueserver and all we had is just some updates on the BS Blog bsvr.blogspot.com leaving most of the players with only 3 options.

1. Play in the lame server GG Client which have many lamers
2. Go to the nearest Cyber Cafe and play.
3. Fight AI yourself. Sad Case.

Thanks to Evert Chin who have 20k++ views on his user profile on Blogger, the same person who founded Blueserver all by himself years ago. He managed to revive Blueserver, BSv4, but its already very very different.

and so now, players can gather together again to play Dota in a different server that used to be maintained by the people in BS. This specific plan that Megablue a.k.a Evert Chin is working on recently is part of a bigger picture which also provides server hosting for other games like Starcraft : Broodwar and Counter Strike.

and this is one of the interesting statement that caught my attention.
"
We'll not be using the old database from Blueserver v3 due to some major changes in the system setups. Yet we will still providing a way for you to communicate with the old members from Blueserver so that you can inform them about your new nickname in UCpro.
Source : bsvr.blogspot.com
"
I'm really interested in how far can Megablue go with this whole new "project". We'll see. =)
*i read that the new registration system will involve sms verification through handphone.Interesting xD

and so now the games that are hosted on their servers are on BETA Testing mode.

Do go ahead and try it if you're interested.

So yea, Blueserver is back!! As UC-Pro. O.O

a few hours spent. Before leaving Ah Fo gave me this, all the way from UK. 2 Keychains, i asked why 2? He answered "nice mah, one gold one silver" O.O hahahaha well thanks anyway. Nice meeting him again after so long. He's heading back to UK for studies on Sunday.

and yea, i just installed Diablo1. xD

My Favourite Computer Game of All-Time

*this is an entry to join the World Cyber Games Blog Contest by Nuffnang & Samsung. =)

Last Friday, i was chatting with a few friends on our past times. From TV shows like power rangers, He-Man, Transformers to games like Tank, 1942, Super Mario, and etc.

Looking back at the kids nowadays who're all hooked up to computer games and only computer games, i felt that i have a much more nicer childhood time than them. My childhood involving me getting some bling bling Dragonball cards from some card vending machine after school or turning another type of vending machine to get some stuffs in an "egg".

Other than that, we have MicroGenius back then. With the lame controller which consist of select, start, up, down, left, right and a b buttons, i had lots of sleepless nights playing those games. Sitting near to the televisions, having many scoldings from the parents, going through higher levels and different worlds in the games made my day as well as making my fingers pain/tired/sore.

Computer came into the scene then and took the world by storm with their multi-function features. I was introduced to various computer games back then. Only a few did impressed me and made me hooked up to computers. I'm sure some of you know what games are those, the likes of Half-Life, Counter-Strike, Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo, Red Alert and maybe Age Of Empire.

Among all the games that i've played, i'm most impressed by the games made by Blizzard. Especially the Diablo series.

I still remember the first time having Diablo at home. It was a win95 pc if i'm not mistaken. Back then it was a hit. I was so exciting when i was installing the game on my pc. If i'm not mistaken, the game only require 200mb of hard disk space.

The quests were all accomplished by going down one level by one level, slashing monsters and the Big Bosses. I still remember one Big Boss with the name, The Butcher. HAHA. I was so kan cheong when i fight with him, running here and there. Being a noob gamer, i spent quite long finishing the game, i actually did went online with the 56k line to find walkthrough. =P

Being such a hit, Blizzard came out with Diablo 2 with 5 all new character classes, monsters and ultimate Bosses. Here, players are allowed to explore more in the game.

More terrains were added where players can explore the outside world, catacombs, caves, and some historical buildings. Its much more exciting than the first game.

The 5 new character classes- Paladin, Necromancer, Amazon, Sorceress, Barbarian

Again, i spend endless hours and sleepless nights playing the game up down left right here and there and because that i'm such a noob gamer, i spend real long playing the game. =(

Soon, Blizzard came out with expansion set of Diablo2 wtf with 2 extra character class.

2 Extra new character classes - Assasin, Druid.

Blizzard are really good at making games as well as attracting people to play their games. They must have earned ALOT and i mean really ALOT through the games they made.

More money than i've earned in the game alone by selling items and pawning monsters. =P

With 7 characters to choose each with different skills and abilities, i spent a lot of time with my friends playing this game in multiplayer mode. I can still remember saving my character file in a diskette, YES DISKETTE!!! NOT PENDRIVE!!lolx and go to the cyber cafe near my school and proceed in playing the multiplayer mode for Diablo.

We traded various items, some useful, some useless, went to the blacksmith to forge new items with runes and etc.

Exploring the different terrains, up and down, deep and far away from base, with different weather conditions as well, running into traps and stashes of treasures..

Using the different spells, skills and abilities which i thought was a helluva graphic effects back then on the bad guys(some undead o.O), killing them aiding teammates and helping each other in battles..

Battling the Big Bosses, which require endless bottles of potion and mana, the right supporting spells, the abilitities as well as running skills when we were badly damaged by the big bosses, some bosses require us to have a few tries and different combinations of spells and tactics in order for us to kill them and finish the missions...

winning the battles and getting unique items together and celebrating our victories adding new stats and new skills to our characters.

One of the best moments playing a specific game. The excitement and syiok-ness whenever you finish a level, go to a different world, exploring the places, getting unique items, pawning the boss and monsters together with friends. From Easy to Hell difficulty level. It was quite a memory for me. =)

Blizzard really really do produce top level games and set the standards there for other games developer as well as impressing the many gamers from all over the world. Their games made an impact all over the world except for Starcraft Ghost.

Just as much as Robb love playing the game Starcraft (from blizzard as well!! haha), i love playing Diablo series.

and of course my favourite game of all time would be Diablo 2 Expansion : Lord of Destruction.

So, do you have a Favourite Computer Game of all time running in your head now? Don't tell me you spent your whole time reading books, doing homeworks and revision non-stop in the past!!

O.O

Anyway, my favourite Microgenius game is Tank. =) *shoot shoot shoot other tanks.... hehe*

Forum Pahwer!!!

I don't know about you, but for me, i'll check the source of people coming into my blog from time to time. The links that brought them here.

and just a few days ago, i was viewing the analytics of my blog through Nuffnang and gosh i saw this....

WTF!!!!

i was thinking what wrong did i do till someone posted my link and attract so many people.....
*open eyes bigbig

O.O

okay fine, i know bloggers like KennySia get that kind of hits in just like one minute but to me its ALOT OKAY!!!

i went to my blog and check on my live traffic statistics and i saw this...

*open eyes even bigger

O.O

without a second thought i click on the referral link in Nuffnang analytics page..

and so i found out that on the first site-starfeeder.gameriot.com, someone posted about a female Starcraft gamer and added my link there as i've posted a post before with the title Famous Female Progamers end of last year.

The site happen to be a site with high traffic i guess and althought not many people commented on that post, MANY people came to that specific post of mine through that link.

Then, i think, i think bah, someone who read that post on starfeeder.gameriot.com reposted my link in a Singapore Forum site - forums.hardwarezone.com.sg.

and then suddenly, i have MANY people coming to my blog through both sources.

wahlao....

i am really amazed by the "pahwer" of a post in a forum. So now i know la...

Those regular-forums-lurker who appears to be a blogger as well SURE have high traffic wan!!!

CRAZY 1...

and yes, for the first time, i get more visitors from Singapore compare to Malaysia.

Great huh??

You can see that the specific post only have one comment only. Made a long post and posted so many "lengluis" and spent quite some time finding facts on their gaming history and only have one FREAKING comment that time. Sad Case.
Even now that i have many people reading that post, still no one commented. =(

One comment only..........

Well, whatever it is, i still thank the 2 peeps who posted my blog link in 2 different place. I really used quite some time doing that specific post on female progamers.

Here is a screenshot on part of my post last year - Famous Female Progamers.

Diablo 3 - Officially Announced

Remember the post i post a few days ago on the possibilities of Diablo3 being announce this weekend?

ITS OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED!!!!

=)

While everyone is relaxing, spending their time with their beloved ones last weekend, Blizzard announced a news that brought smiles to the many millions diablo fans around the world.

Rumours have been around the internet for quite some years, some from the fans, some from the developers at Blizzard, and it all started becoming more OBVIOUS a few days ago.

It all started when this image appeared on Blizzard splash page. It was the first day.

The next day, they had this up.

Follow by this image...

and this....

Cool Aite??

The very first game of Diablo was one of the very first computer games i've played. Seriously, i played really very very little computer games all these years and Diablo have been one of my favourite game. I even replayed Diablo2 2 years ago with my diploma course mates through a "private server" and it was awesome still.

With this news coming out, you can imagine me having a big smile on my face hahaha. But again, we'll have to wait for a period of time, maybe a few years time till the game is actually out. At least now, we know that it'll be out. =)

There'll be 5 job classes in Diablo3, the ones that have been announced were barbarian and witch doctor with more updates coming out in the future. Players are able to choose to play as male or female version of the 5 job classes as well. More announced information on Diablo3 here.

"
Two decades have passed since the demonic denizens, Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal, wandered the world of Sanctuary in a vicious rampage to shackle humanity into unholy slavery. Yet for those who battled the Prime Evils directly, the memory fades slowly and the wounds of the soul still burn.
When Deckard Cain returns to the ruins of Tristram's Cathedral seeking clues to new stirrings of evil, a comet from the heavens strikes the very ground where Diablo once entered the world. The comet carries a dark omen in its fiery being and it calls the heroes of Sanctuary to defend the mortal world against the rising powers of the Burning Hells – and even the failing luminaries of the High Heavens itself.
"

*crap wehhh, now i have to start saving money to get a new pc for starcraft2 and diablo3... swt...
