Diablo3 to be Announce this weekend?

Fans of the game Diablo by Blizzard, there might be good news for you this weekend!!!

I have no idea how much you frequent Blizzard website. But if you have been surfing there these few days, you might have already see this.

Just yesterday, 24th June 2008, Blizzard have this image as splash page before you could actually head to the main page of Blizzard.

Speculations have been made since then on the announcement of Diablo3. Its 8 years since the last Diablo game came out. The expansion of Diablo2.

The image that is on Blizzard shows 2 rune underneath the ice that is from the previous Diablo games.



The left rune appears to be the Shael rune.



and the right Rune appears to be The Hel Rune.

Both from Diablo2.

This weekend there'll be this Entertainment Worldwide Invitational by Blizzard in Paris and people are guessing that Blizzard will make an announcement on Diablo3 in the event.

According to Diablofans.com. Blizzard contacted the webmaster of diablofans.com - Mockery to acquire the domain name diablo3.com and Mockery gave the domain name diablo3.com(which he owns it since 1998) to Blizzard for free.
