DEARBOYS ACT III (3)

Along these years, since primary school days, i've spent quite a lot i must say on comic books. Not buying them, but loaning/borrowing them from comic book stores and bringing back to read.

Though not as hardcore as the old days where i'll get like 20-40 books at once and finish all in one shot in a day, i still visit the nearby comic book shop from time to time.

and well, the time to time i meant when from a few times per week to maybe a few times per month, so i was like outdated in reading and knowing some of the latest episodes of the comics.

Anyways, a couple of days ago i was in a nearby comic book store finding comics to bring back to accompany me during my days doing my current final year project.

as i was finding and hunting for the comics i want, i was reminded all of a sudden of this very basketball comic i've not read in ages already. No not Slam Dunk which was ended by the author ages ago.
*slamdunk is still the best basketball comic/anime to many of the people out there even up till now.

and so, i quickly searched through and found out that the comic i was thinking have already ended. Oh darn. So fast wan, that was the first thing that came to my mind. Shucks.

The comic i talk about is DEARBOYS and no it's not a gay comic or a gay basketball comic get your mind straight! I have no idea why the author got the name dear.boys.

Anyway, this very comic DEARBOYS have been around for ages already and i've followed it from time to time since ACT I. As you can see, in the picture above, DEARBOYS have reached ACT II already. and now its FINISH.

I find it pretty nice following the story of the main team of basketball players in this comic, playing their way going through winning matches in zone/district/state and up to national level in the last episode of ACT II.

then habis already....

brought the last few episodes of DEARBOYS back home and started reading them.

and i must say...

I was extremely happy and excited when i reached the last page stating that this is the end of ACT II and there'll be more in ACT III wtf.

Neverending wan hahaha endless but i likey, hahaha which reminds me of Dragonball last time where when Dragonball Z finishes comes Dragonball GT. Lolx

and now, WHO KNOW THAT WHEN WILL ACT III COME OUT??
or is it actually out already arh... =X

Old School Party - The Day

This was actually a party at the end of October 2008. At the 25th of October and i took like ages to finally reach this final post of this specific party. Lolx

Bad me.

It was a close and private party where just a few of us were there and some of the peeps were early.

The early ones are like



HsuJen, Nigel and


David himself!!



They were there like since 3-4pm++ and HsuJen was too bored that she started playing around. Hehe.


Soon, everyone reached and started mingling around relaxing themselves



where our personal in house DJ "pushing" here and there providing us the entertainment/music that we really did enjoyed that night. =D



those of you from our era will be familiar with this song above hehehehe.



and really, the peeps there were amazing on bringing their own collection of toys there. xD



and of course, from time to time, there are camwhore moments



full with all sorts of expressions. =)

where everyone joined in. ALMOST. Nigel was still pushing here and there. =X

Old School Party - Childhood Times

Its pretty funny that when we're still a kid, we'll hope that time past in a flash and we can grow up as soon as possible and do what the adults forbid us to do.

and then when we're grown up, we hope to go back time, to the childish, innocent, happy and not-so-complicated times.

Watching cartoons on television while eating snacks like NiNi



or choki-choki.



Buying this "ais batang" stick ice "syrup"



and such snacks to bring home and eat.



Taking out the mini items from the box of snacks we bought



and spent the whole day being silly playing with it...




For guys, playing botol caps?



For Girls, playing Batu Seremban?



Oh and this as well!!

I have no idea who invented all these but i must say, its brilliant!



Okay i forgot what they call this already.. O.O



and i use to love playing this above =D



and UNO totally rocks in the past! when it came out it was da thing back then!!!!!



So yea....



those were the times



those were the stuffs

and too bad, nowadays, all kids know is just online games, psp and online games, psp and online games, owh and they even have handphones that are more expensive than mine! DARN. =(

those days are gone.

Keeping In Touch

Making friends is easy. Getting close and sharing some personal stuffs is not that hard as well.

The thing that is hard is maintaining the friendship and keeping in touch.

Along the years, i've made quite a lot of friends actually, saying "hi, i'm joshua", shaking hands and eventually bidding goodbye to most of them.

but...........

i'm pretty proud that all these years, i have a few close ones that i can really count on. Those who will listen to you and tell you the truth, those who won't bitch about you on a really personal mater you shared and those who will make you feel relieve conversing with them.

but due to external factors like studies, work, different interest/topics and perhaps in a relationship, those who were once close will get apart with you and you'll have to move on where this process call "friends come and go" happen.

Pretty sad but that's life.

Though just some crappy messages, but that really put a smile on my face for quite some time. We said that we'll meet up when she comes back from her studies oversea, but i'll just see how it goes. =)

I just thank God for all the people that made a turning where we passed by the same junction somewhere sometime. It's just amazing.

After all, it's all these small little things that matters.

1.37 Minutes of Stupidity

Just came back from 007 : Quantum Of Solace screening @ Cineleisure.

Not much comments on the whole thing, didn't expect a freaking briefing in a room without aircond and nevermind, they bloody close the door making the whole place even.... !&*%@*^$#@

and then the cinema they arranged for us no aircond also.....

crap...

Argh.. that's like quite a lot of comments hahaha..

anyway skip that crap... came home and saw this video link sent by one of my college mate.




Lolx i don't know what do you think about this dude above in the video la, but seriously those are one of the stupid stuffs i did before. 2 years ago if i'm not mistaken, with a few of my friends, i was sitting with 1 friend on the bonnet of my friend's car.

Yes, that's me in the picture above on top of a bonnet on the road.

OF COURSE, not during daylight passing by so many people.

it was in the middle of the night and we were just around our neighborhood.

Yea i know some of you might say : "STILL!!!"

I was a crazy dude back then. Am i still 1 that's for you to find out.

Old School Party - Student Affairs

You know last time when you're young, when you're still in primary school or maybe for some of you who're like me being outta secondary school already, we used to have lots of lots of memories when we're in schools.

Running here and there, making friends once in a while and offending almost everyone(well we're still kids and its easy to offend people) we know, having your own group of friends perhaps or just being a lone ranger...

Helping teachers out and obeying teachers at all times or another way round disobeying teachers being the naughtiest kid in class....

There're lots of lots of memories...

For me i had lots of memories coming back while looking at the pictures taken in the Old School Party last month.

I remember during primary school, i have to carry this bloody big ass bag as i have to like bring lots of lots of books as one teacher might be teaching a few subjects, so during a same period, the teacher might SUDDENLY request to teach another subject that differs from the original timetable.

There's this KAMUS/DICTIONARY i have to bring as well and not to forgot those endless EXERCISE BOOKS/BUKU LATIHAN we had last time and our OHSONICE pencil box that some of you might be proud of showing off to your friends and the big big water bottle and etc.

All these stuffs are not even enough to be place in the bag that sometimes i have to bring another extra bag with some folders as well. lolx.

Oh well, i was in a Chinese Primary School.

One thing i recalled back from primary school times is i have a crush on this girl who is the assistant class monitor i think, hahaha then she's a girl who wear specs and actually now thinking back, i have no idea why i like her hahahahha... i just know she's my crush la thats all.. yes i know big swt..

Oh and i remember last time there's this so called bad boy in class which i don't understand why many girls like him wan, he's those kinda cool cool guy who seldom smile and was quiet and he have those bad boy look but girls just like him, those were the days when i still don't understand many many things la, now i kind of understand it already hahaha.

Another funny thing i remember was when i'm still young, i will easily like a girl wan, be it people start teasing or u noticed her all of a sudden out of no where, you might find her cute, or pretty in your own way or maybe intelligent or you just got attracted eventually. Yes primary school times i actually liked a few girls. I don't know whether you're the same or not haha.

Talking about a few girls, in class, there's always a few girls who mix together and was like THE HAPPENING GIRLS and most guys will be paying attention on them wan, talking about how cute this girl is, how pretty she was and uh oh how much marks they get as in how intelligent they were la...

Then out of a sudden arh, you'll noticed one guy extremely close with the girl and guys will be jealous of this guy and he'll be damn syiok nuffsaid. xD

Still remember children's day?? I love that day and i think that's one of the day i enjoyed most, decorating the whole class and putting aside all the tables and chairs, getting presents(we have this presents exchange thingy) and many many snacks and sweets and of course play games in a group among the classmates

and of course taking group class photo at the end of the day which record down all our smiles on that day. Talking about that, i wonder where did i place that photo of mine. =(

There're lots more memories which some i don't know how to describe or tell it out, others can be an individual story itself to be told. Happy, Sad, Disappointing, Interesting, Boring, Angry.....

Lots of them. =)

Those were the days. Those were really the days.

The days where things are really really simple, direct and straight forward, people are not fake towards themselves and others, they don't like one person they don't talk to that person. The days where we're still true to ourselves and not being fake here and not smiling in front of someone ending up talking bad about that someone. Yes we're all human and we have our weakness and problems but then isnt there should be an extend and limit for some matter, why some people can be like this and some people can be like that. The more individuals i meet and get to know in this year shows me some really scary facts and i'm really scared i will turn out to become like them in the future.

In fact i think i'm already being somehow like these people. =(

Its just too complicated.

Anyway its nice recalling back all those childhood memories. =D
