Earlier last month i went to Laundry Bar @ The Curve and attended a sneak peak session of what Digi is up to lately.

Resume For Blogging Job

Here i am writing a blog post that's related to the recruitment of an Official blogger for a TV reality television series.

From the requirements, i would say that i definitely fit in.

I can commit for a total of 4 months in Singapore, i'm fluent in both English and Chinese and i can blog more than 80 blog posts in the period given!

Let me just share what i've done thus far with my blog.

I've been fortunate enough to get invited to Media events which involves big companies such as Canon, Nokia, Hennessy, Coca-Cola and not forgetting; I was one of the affiliated blogger for Comic Fiesta 2008.

Besides that, i've also blogged about various events, from music events, dance events to clubbing ones, concerts. I truly enjoy blogging these stuffs as I get to give my readers not only my personal opinion but also a clearer picture of an event.

Sometimes, i will add some self compiled videos to make my post more appealing. Videos examples here MINT Magazine Launch, LG Malaysia Blog Launch, Tiger Stand Out Party & the recent Eason's Moving on Stage 26 Concert.

Following a few reality series such as Malaysian Dream Girl 1 & 超级星光大道 of Taiwan and etc along the years blogging about it as an audience, being so, i believe i have a few valuable thoughts and insight to share with the people behind the scene.

Last but not least, i've made lot of friends through blogging where i love meeting people and i would love to work with the people behind the scene getting more experience.

I hope that I can take my blogging experience a step further and get this job as HPSpace’s official blogger as I’ll do my best!

Bloggers Gone Crazy Past Midnight

The last time i saw a bunch of bloggers gone crazy in the middle of the night was like lotsa months ago earlier this year. They even got horny and such started talking stuffs about ***.

and just only, all of a sudden, there's this random group of bloggers started going crazy on Innit chatbox. AGAIN. T_T

and because i was freaking hungry, i joined in the craze too.... *laughs*

Yea, as stupid as it seems, we're a bunch of uber-super-sangat-very-很-非常-超级-hyperactive bloggers getting excited this very hour at this very weekend. I don't really know why the others got excited but i'm excited because of this!!

Singapore's First Bloggers Flash Mob = PHAILED!

Have you watch the video of the first bloggers flash mob in Singapore organized by Nuffnang Spore? If not watch it here. =X

Seriously speaking, i was pretty disappointed watching it. It was DUH. Epic Failure. Nuffnang Spore did a great job by getting the amount of bloggers to attend it, the problem is....

A total amount of what? 200 Bloggers attending it and there's only 10 pillow warriors/silent dancers. Okay maybe there're 15 of them and not 10. Gosh. EPIC FAILURE!!

Both HAPPENED IN MALAYSIA ROARR!!!

Yeh though not organized by Nuffnang Malaysia but its based on the same single objective.

A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.

Alright maybe Malaysia failed in that also because Malaysians don't disperse after the UNUSUAL ACT but at least we achieved 80% of the objective where many people participated in it which makes the whole thing look like its HAPPENING. NOT SAD.

and what happen in Singapore last Saturday was really SAD.

I actually asked my friends to join me in the KL Freeze last year and my friends were like errr, wan meh, paiseh lah, shy la and take it as such a dumb act making yourself a public joke. and i guess that's what many of you Sporean bloggers thought as well.

But if MANY people participated in it, then the whole thing won't be stupid, it will be HAPPENING and it will be spread around from words of mouth and you'll be proud that you actually participated in it!!

Sorry if i've offended any of you Singaporean bloggers but seriously, if you would want to participate in a flash mob, then do it and BE IN IT.

Most of us bloggers are still in the "YOUTH/YOUNG" category and if you don't participate in all these fun events and BE IN IT yourself at this age being crazy and all, then when will you do so? The world is getting crazier each day and everyone is full of stress, so by participating in such events once in a while won't lower down your "Almighty" status okay?

Standout Party by Nuffnang & Tiger

Yesterday was the Stand Out Party by Nuffnang & Tiger and i think that it was awesome. Though i didn't win anything Haha but the party was very very entertaining xD.

Alright so, back to the post, on the day itself, i reached around 7.10PM and i could already see lots of bloggers doing their best attending the event in some wicked costumes. One of them was PPC, who is the winner of the COACH hand bag and she was already the attraction since the start of the party.

I think that though most girls envy her, they will think that she totally deserve the hand bag as she really put lots of effort into her costumes.

But this bunch of bloggers were totally O.O

They called themselves the Spartans, Malaysian Version of course don't complaint that they don't have muscles please and 2 of them bagged 2 of the biggest prize of the night. One got a laptop and the other one got a Nintendo DS Lite. Reminds me of the DGMB-ians back in Nuffnang Halloween Party. Haha.

The event was all good and the food was delicious as well!! and this time round, we have an extra emcee which differs from the past Nuffnang Parties in Malaysia. Jojo Struys joined Liang in the emcee lineup!! Nice. =D

It was quite a scene throughout the whole night with lots of standout bloggers and i think i blinked less last night. and if you've view the video above, it was TimothyTiah's birthday yesterday and so the Nuffies had a small surprise for him and he was smiling all the way, one of the highlight of the night that was!!

Congrats to Joseph for winning the Xbox 360.



and of course obviously the most outstanding blogger of the night, PPC who won the COACH handbag, too bad for the other girls last night =X

Good Job Nuffnang!!

To the many people i met yesterday, nice meeting you!! One of the reason i enjoyed going to these events are because of this. Its hard to get so many people together and these events are one of the time you'll get to see them all together in one place. xD

and the remaining of the night was spent @ Murni with 50++ other bloggers!!
Crazy. Of course, i don't know all of them hahahaha. It was all random and we joined tables.

2nd Cheque From Nuffnang

Thanks to my computer, my mouse, my cpu, my monitor, my internet service provider Mr Streamyx which've failed me 10 times continuously last night disconnecting my internet and many many more individuals, organizations, parties esp PAS yay!! =X

Alright, seriously, in 2004 when i started blogging, i NEVER EVER think that i could have earn money through blogging and it was just for the fun of it having a few friends who blog.

It was quite Wow for me when i realize that i could get cash through all this lousy content on my blog. Real Cash that i can spend/save and not those monopoly ones.

The 1st time i got my cheque was back in October last year and i was really thankful. Towards Nuffnang, my readers and of course God as well.

I have no idea how Nuffnang is going on esp. in this year of recession where i hope that they're doing good but one thing i'm sure is they really keep their words in sending out the money to bloggers, ON TIME.

and so, yes this post serve the same purpose with the post i made last year when i get my 1st cheque. A testimonial showing that Nuffnang takes care of the Nuffnangers. Rumours said that Advertlets only takes care/pays of the bigger well-known bloggers such as SP and KBF and not paying the smaller bloggers.

So now, I, Joshua Ong who is a nobody-blogger in Nuffnang is getting a cheque for the 2nd time showing that Nuffnang takes care of every bloggers including the small ones, just like me. xD
