It was quite an adventure for me throughout the 2 whole hours where i kinda "traveled" the whole middle east during the whole period of time. It is actually a movie that highlights the importance of information during this period where there extremist groups planning random terrorist attacks.
An US intelligence personnel was assigned to go on field to investigate and get related information to get hold of those who're responsible for the terror acts.
Throughout his assignment, he saw things with his own eyes....
and was in various tough situation where most of it are dangerous and...
requires him to risk his own life defending the people around him as well. and among all these tasks, he's the one doing all the hard work while receiving orders from the one...
behind the scenes, his superior that is less capable of handling situations and
all he knows to do is to watch his men through advanced technology where he thinks he's smarter and knows what to do but...
the fact is he's making mistakes again and again. Sometimes i find these movies kind of interesting where modern technologies can't seem to be utilized where everything needs to go back to its basic in order to get things go well WITHOUT any trace.
In this movie, they tell about how the terrorist groups work in such a way that they abandon modern technologies and spread orders/messages just through the words of mouth and papers in order not to let the intelligence keep track of their activities.
In such operations where it requires local assistance from the local authorities, trust is something very very important and its pretty dangerous where when you believe in the wrong person, gone case...
Oh and yea, there's a bit of love & relationship in this movie. Just that bit of it only. lolx.
The whole movie was pretty lengthy but its interesting for me as i've not watched such movie for quite some time already, though not much action packed scenes or science fiction fantasy stuffs, i like this movie overall. I actually enjoyed. =D
but i must say, such movie is not for everyone. Not many will like it though.
