The result was the Taiwanese team won over the Malaysian team with a total pinfalls of 393 to 374. The champions received USD 3,500 while the runner ups received USD 1,500.
well, afterall, it was just a friendly match.
The main focus of this whole event was to promote the upcoming World Games 2009 KaoSiung which will be held in a span of 11 days from 16th July to 26th July 2009. This is the first time that Taiwan won the right to host a large international competition in the last 60 years where it includes some of the competing sports like Squash, Bowling, Billiards, Sumo, Wushu, Ju-Jitsu, Softball, Body Building, Water Ski, Dragon Boat and many more.
Held once every 4 years, the World Games is the biggest international multi-sports games, only second to the Olympics. Taiwan was given the honour to host the games with approximately 5,000 athletes and officials from nearly 100 countries around the world.
