without getting any answers

repeating my mistakes

this is the time i wish i can have a time machine, like the table in Doraemon where i can go back past, and change the past...

Haha. *Slap* :) About a month before the date on this web log, I was visiting a friend of mine in Florida. We went to some other friends of mine, one Sunday, after church, and we ate and ate and ate. As we were in his car, driving back to his house, both of us feeling the effects of eating WAY too much, I said to him, "Dude, slap me if I eat anything else today." Well... When we got back to his house, his brother's friend brought a pie over that his mom had just made--a coconut cream pie. Of course, I had some. Then I decided to eat an apple. As I was standing over the trash can coring it, my friend saw me, and came over and slapped me. He went, "Well, you told me to! :D". I don't regret eating that pie--or that apple! I regretted asking him to slap me, though. :D
In all (some :)) seriousness, though, thank the Lord that there is no "time machine"--are we really so arrogant to believe that we could do better if given the chance; so blind to see that the Lord actually DOES bring us to the point over and over again until we DO get it right? Praise the Lord that He has offered us more than a "time machine"--He has given us His Salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ. He has made it so that our mistakes, in His eyes, actually never happened. That, my friend, is better than a time machine. Praise the Lord! :)
