So yea, thanks to MalaysianDreamgirl, i attended the Grand Finale of Malaysian Dreamgirl Season 2 @ The Curve just last night.

Unlike the first season finale that was at 1Utama last year which is more spacious and attracted ALOT more crowds/passerby around the area, this time round it was pretty crowded with less people around. Crowded inside the finale area and less people out of the area.

Okay, no complains to that because they need sponsors and such to provide them with a more strategic + big venue.

The things that i don't understand is why their PA system/guy sucks so much. It was pretty terrible, it was too loud when they showed some of the videos throughout the season there and then and during a few parts of the fashion show, i can actually a clash between 2 different tracks and it was quite awful.

Then uh huh their lighting was gahhhhhhh... Please look at the 2 girls behind not the 2 girls in front xD. I was like o.O when i looked back at my pictures. =X

and the performance they had was erm quite boring for me and i'm sure some of the people there grew bored of it too as i saw a few yawns during the few performances.

Alright maybe its just me myself having problems with my ears, eyes and most probably the camera i used as well haha. Lets proceed, like FINALLY.

The girls were all good, i mean like their facial expression and their catwalk and stuff, of course that's in my eyes and i don't know what the others think bah. Just that there's this one specific girl who look quite down and can't seem to cheer up. Some personal problems probably.

OR MAYBE, she might not be satisfy with the fashion wear she had!

If you've attended both the last finale and this one, you'll most probably agree with me.

Alright maybe it's just me that's all. Its just me who think that the girls got to wear much nicer last year with more different themes/brands/sponsors(perhaps).

No offence to the brands/sponsors who provided the fashion wear last night, I do think that the fashion wear they had last night was a bit plain and simple and not SO nice compared to the ones MDG had last year.

Fua i've complained so much that they might ban me from attending the 3rd finale next year xD. Well of course, we all understand that it is the recession year and everything also need to cut budget, but Capxion Media, you guys have so many sponsors wehh and from what i see, you guys earned pretty much from the SMS votings!!

It doesn't matter anyway huh, they are the professionals and i'm just nobody haha.

Ah sigh. =(

Alright i guessed i've chased away some of the loyal fans of Malaysian Dreamgirl already. =X

Back to the competition. As expected, the girls have somehow turned into someone different physically after the long journey and this season, the TOP 3 finalists have quite a fair share of loyal fans supporting them WHICH IS A GOOD THING. If you're there last night, you could actually hear cheers for these 3 finalists whenever they come out showing their confidence.

The atmosphere was totally different than last year's finale!! It was better this year.
*despite the complaints i have that is.

and the final result for the 2nd season of MDG is

Winner - Juanita who won with a 20,000 lead in SMSes
1st Runner Up - Pinky
2nd Runner Up - Dawn

hmm...

So now its all over for the girl and i believe some of the girls in the competition needs time to get over all the drama they've been through the whole competition period. Some complication that we can't understand and hope that they can really come out of it.

and of course, Congrats to all of the girls to have completed their Malaysian Dreamgirl journey thus long.

Before i end this post, i just want to ask, can you think of the different thoughts playing in the top 3 finalists in the picture below?

I could think of a few funny ones xD. The picture was taken after the 2nd Runner up was announced before they announced Juanita and Pinky as the winner and the 1st runner up.

Malaysian Dream Girl Season 2 coming to an End.

It's been a year.

The girls of MDG1 have went back to their respective life where most of them have set their DreamGirl experience/drama aside behind their backs.

and now the second season is coming to an end already...

in a few more days, the winner will be announce to the public at The Curve.

on MDG Auditions and Youth09

Last Saturday, before heading to Zouk for Armin in the night, i was already out in the afternoon. Kinda crashed the KL Malaysian Dreamgirl Audition. Lolx. With Aaron.

Was there to meet up with Anis who was in town all the way from Penang. I was @ the auditions around 4pm and as expected i met some official bloggers that afternoon and on the other hand, Tock and Zoe was there too! Lolx

Had a short conversation with some of the people over there and "lepak" around the place for quite a while till we (aaron, anis and me) decided to leave the place and head to Youth09.

Last year when they have this youth event, i didn't attend it. and so, i decided to go this year to have a look here and there. Furthermore i planned to meet Joanne whom i've not seen for quite some time already.

Seriously, there were lots of activities, competitions, stuffs in this very youth event and i was pretty lost when i reached there.


there was this battle of the bands.

where they have people who sit on the floor listening to them.

the basketball courts for the basketball competition. Too bad when i reached, the competitions over already.

there was this Jazzercise workshop on the other hall and i see many youthful people.

some awesome talent i thought.

at the end of the hall where the Jazzercise workshop, there was this bazaar where people brought their stuffs and had stalls each selling their own stuffs. Some of them were pretty interesting while some were O.O

I even noticed one table with just a paper on it. They had everything sold out before the event ends on that day itself. Crazy!

and then, i saw something real interesting. There was this wall full of pictures and i can say that almost every one of it was really nice.

oh and i forgot, the 3 of us, Aaron, Anis and i had fun at the automobiles display area haha...



and we took such photos to entertain ourselves!! Gahhhhh..

My say on Youth09?

Frankly speaking i was pretty lost and got a bit bored because there was too many things going on in the event itself. I can't imagine myself being there through out the whole day hahaha.

For people who're like me going to this event aimlessly, they will feel pretty bored.

For people who're NOT like me and attended this very event with some objectives be it joining the competitions/workshops, meeting new friends, buying stuffs at the bazaar and etc i'm pretty sure that this event was pretty happening for them. Lolx.

So yea...

Hope to see Anis and Joanne sometime somewhere soon. =D

A Visitor From Makkah, Saudi Arab

The first season of Malaysian Dream Girl ended quite a few months ago.

Each dream girl have gone back to their own lives, some went on to pursue their dream and some taking up normal 9-5 jobs. To most of them, its a good thing as they consider themselves out of hell.

and just now, while i was checking on my blog live traffics, i found out something.

Someone who's surfing my blog at that moment through Yahoo Search Engine was from Makkah.

Nuffnang Sharing Session @ Italiannies

Italiannies have been operating around in Malaysia for quite some time. Their varieties of Italian food have serve us well throughout the years where some bloggers did some really interesting reviews on some of the outlets.

and yesterday, Italiannies 1 Utama was kind enough to open up places for up to 20+ bloggers to dine - a sharing session among bloggers by Nuffnang & Italiannies.

Robb and Yeehou were there to welcome us bloggers at the so called "registration table". =)

Soon, we were all seated with the Nuffies that consist of Timothy Tiah, the boss himself and Nicholas, Robb, Yeehou & Pinky. Of course, Ringo and Cindy were there as well. =)

The session started with Timothy Tiah coming out giving a short little prayer(right picture above) note on this sharing session and explaining some stuffs.

Soon the food were served to us. Gosh what can i say? We do not need to pay and yet we were spoilt by the various food served there.

of course we didn't forget to take pictures every time the food was served. =P

pictures were taken among bloggers as well. Snapping pictures here and there where the other customer could see the flashlights coming from our direction. Ha.

Most of us bloggers there chatted with the people around us, left,right&front. Introducing ourselves, when we started blogging, what do we blogged about and then proceed to some private chats perhaps.

Then just before the desserts came out, Cindy and Ringo came out where it was open up for us to ask questions, they shared their experience on how they fell in love. Particularly during and after the extremely twisted so called 1st Online Reality Show in Malaysia. The Malaysian Dream Girl.

They look at each with love each time they answer a question haha its ok if i write this right Cindy&Ringo?? lolx

They shared about some stupid rules the show have, the environment, the experience where they were kept out from the world outside without a mobile phone, an internet connection as well as a television. The days and nights sleeping with people they just got to know.

and everyone was paying attention on what they say. Maybe some are just purely admiring the beauties in front of them idontknow. =P

while some others were snapping pictures/recording videos to cover this sharing session.

They shared some advice as well for girls who would want to join the competition in the future. A simple advice from them is just 2 words.

Don't Join.HAHA.SERIOUS! =P

Robb asked the last question closing up the "interview session". But the sharing session didn't just end there. We had something installed for someone who's having her special day that day.


It was her birthday and words were passed from mouth to mouth before the dinner start.

We gave her a surprise singing a birthday song to her which kept her smiling like a small kid like that lolx.

she was a happy birthday girl that night. =)
