Nuffnang Sharing Session @ Italiannies

Italiannies have been operating around in Malaysia for quite some time. Their varieties of Italian food have serve us well throughout the years where some bloggers did some really interesting reviews on some of the outlets.

and yesterday, Italiannies 1 Utama was kind enough to open up places for up to 20+ bloggers to dine - a sharing session among bloggers by Nuffnang & Italiannies.

Robb and Yeehou were there to welcome us bloggers at the so called "registration table". =)

Soon, we were all seated with the Nuffies that consist of Timothy Tiah, the boss himself and Nicholas, Robb, Yeehou & Pinky. Of course, Ringo and Cindy were there as well. =)

The session started with Timothy Tiah coming out giving a short little prayer(right picture above) note on this sharing session and explaining some stuffs.

Soon the food were served to us. Gosh what can i say? We do not need to pay and yet we were spoilt by the various food served there.

of course we didn't forget to take pictures every time the food was served. =P

pictures were taken among bloggers as well. Snapping pictures here and there where the other customer could see the flashlights coming from our direction. Ha.

Most of us bloggers there chatted with the people around us, left,right&front. Introducing ourselves, when we started blogging, what do we blogged about and then proceed to some private chats perhaps.

Then just before the desserts came out, Cindy and Ringo came out where it was open up for us to ask questions, they shared their experience on how they fell in love. Particularly during and after the extremely twisted so called 1st Online Reality Show in Malaysia. The Malaysian Dream Girl.

They look at each with love each time they answer a question haha its ok if i write this right Cindy&Ringo?? lolx

They shared about some stupid rules the show have, the environment, the experience where they were kept out from the world outside without a mobile phone, an internet connection as well as a television. The days and nights sleeping with people they just got to know.

and everyone was paying attention on what they say. Maybe some are just purely admiring the beauties in front of them idontknow. =P

while some others were snapping pictures/recording videos to cover this sharing session.

They shared some advice as well for girls who would want to join the competition in the future. A simple advice from them is just 2 words.

Don't Join.HAHA.SERIOUS! =P

Robb asked the last question closing up the "interview session". But the sharing session didn't just end there. We had something installed for someone who's having her special day that day.


It was her birthday and words were passed from mouth to mouth before the dinner start.

We gave her a surprise singing a birthday song to her which kept her smiling like a small kid like that lolx.

she was a happy birthday girl that night. =)

4 Days in a Row - Exhausted But NICE

Last few days was quite a BLAST for me. Everything was just planned by different people where the days are near to each other.

On Thursday, we celebrated Sue's birthday in Sunway Pyramid with a dinner @ Dragon i and proceeded to MOS Euphoria which got me quite tired lolx.

Then on Friday i met up with Michel, Kenrick, Joash and Joash's Youth Cel Group @ Joash place where we had Bible Pictionary. The night was continued @ Nigel's house with some gaming + movie.

On Saturday, there was this Read While Waiting Project by RandomActs in KL Central @ 3pm. It was really interesting =P Seeing the people gather together reading stuffs be i newspaper, book, novel and etc. Its fun looking at passerby's expression as well lolx.

In the night itself @ Saturday, we had Satay Celup + Pot Luck @ HweiMing's place where we enjoyed our time together, having some "fights" chasing each other around the place as well as having a mini concert by Nigel and blablabla etc etc etc. lolx.

On Sunday morning, she came back to KL and i went to fetch her as well as taking some of her belongings with me back home as she will be shifting soon already, she cant really bring so many stuffs with her when she's moving. It was so nice of her to get me some "medicine" as she knew that i was sick.

There was this sharing session by Nuffnang/Italliannies in 1 Utama later in the evening-night where a small number of us bloggers gather together with 2 of the MDG girls along with a few Nuffies. We talked about the recent politics, scandals, fights, gossips, wars basicly get to know each other more in person, made a few more friends, saying a few whoa to some surprising information & etc as well as Cindy & Ringo sharing with us on their love-hate relationship during&after the whole MDG drama.

I personally enjoyed everything i mentioned above, but my body don't seem to agree with me and so it just went from normal to sick mode.

Will blog about the stuffs above soon. I hope. =(

MDG - Cindy Tey NOT Cindy Teh

Have you watch Episode 18 of MDG S1??

i just watched it and the girls were sharing about their opinions, thoughts and etc in it.

Obviously, the girls don't really like Cindy, we all know it since the "drama" happen in the house.

and true enough, Cindy really owe us bloggers an "appreciation" for making her FAMOUS, In Episode 18 of MDG S1, she thanked those people/bloggers who commented on her whether it was a bad or a good comment.

I was one of the blogger that made her FAMOUS in the process.

When there's just a few episodes, i was finding blogs of the finalists as i thought that people would want to go to their blogs and read about them. Other than Ringo that was already a popular blogger that time, i found Cindy's blog through some links here and there.(somehow i cant find blogs belonging to other finalists-maybe i'm not good at it)

I did not really critic about her and i did not call her a bitch either. But doing this alone is more than enough to drive traffic to her blog hence making her more FAMOUS especially when the whole world is criticizing her after watching the episodes.

What i did?? I just placed her blog link on my blog thats all!!! I didn't quite see HER ROAD TO CHAMPION that time you know. Surprisingly, the only blog i found that belongs to one of the MDG finalist(other than Ringo) was Cindy's blog.

I DIDN'T KNOW THAT CINDY WOULD CAUSE SO MUCH "DRAMA" IN THE EPISODES AS WELL AS WINNING THE MDG TITLE.

till people kept finding more about her through the internet....

Obviously, by "promoting" her blog, i get the traffics as well, thanks to CINDY!

MDG - AmBank NexG Prepaid Mastercard

*this post is meant for ALL MDG Blog Contest consolation prize winners.

Previously, i have blog about winning the consolation prize for the MDG blog contest.

i went to Nuffnang and collected the prize a few weeks ago and AMBank peeps activated the card just days ago.

Anyway thats not the main point, the main point is AMBank will be charging you RM3 every month after they activate the card. I figured out that i won't be using the card most of the time so i cancelled the card service and got the money back - RM97.

You'll be charge RM3 per month regardless of you are going to use the card or not, so if you think of withdrawing all the money out and not cancelling the service. Don't do so.

If you're not using the card then just go to the nearest AmBank branch bringing your Identification card with you to cancel the card and get back the money.

Malaysian Dreamgirl Finale @ 1 Utama

i didn't really thought of going to this event since i've stopped watching the show online around episode 10++

the talented ones were voted out and the show became crappy and well since its the first time a show is made like that to be broadcast online, i will leave my comments and critics for the 2nd season.

don't ask me why, but at the very last few minutes, i decided to go and i tagged along Nigel and Sheryl, just the 3 of us =)

i first met Nigel in a bloggers movie gathering recently and this is the first time we both met Sheryl. Bloggers in Malaysia have been really happening i would say, 2 strangers could become close friends just in a snap through the "blogging bridge".

cut the crap, we managed to get there before the event started.

got ourselves the invitation and off we went to the event.

there was a short dance performance from the girls and well its okay and there was some performance from some CLEO bachelor guy if i'm not mistaken + a young guy(from the so you think you can dance show) doing hip hop dance which i think was BAD.

soon, the girls came out again in a fashion show with a few collections of clothings design by a few top designers.

Jay was the "leader" in the house among the girls as she was cool with everyone, she was professional in the fashion show. Just that she didn't stop long enough for photographers to take more photos O.O

well known with her slightly better "body" figure, she left the show with many of her fans in disappointment. Throughout the show, she gets to wear more revealing clothings and her pose + facial expression were better than previously i would say.

Nadia whom i dislike in the show previously isn't that bad after all. I guess i was really influenced by how the organizing company show the episodes through internet, she looked really great when she smile and she did smile very much during the show. She was friendly in person as well.

We all miss Natasha as she left the show quite early in the competition leaving us with question marks. Seeing her back with other girls doing their part in the fashion show somehow makes me smile =)

Eyna is really beautiful with her new haircut and so, but she still have the robot face on her. Other than that, i really have not much to say about her.

Alison's departure from the competition was another shocking results we faced. During the show, she smiled quite frequently doing her thing in the catwalk, face expression and etc and i would say that she's great.

Fiqa fiqa fiqa. Fiqa have some "naughty" pose during the show which i think made the photographers snapped more pictures of her compared to other girls and i must say that she was quite good during the show.

Ringo, our fellow famous blogger in Malaysia. I do not have to say much about her, go over to her blog or google her name Ringo Tan then you can see many people commenting about her already.

One of the 3 finalists, Hanis was really like a winner already. She walked slowly with a confident face facing cheers from everywhere whenever she came out. She's already a winner from the start of the show, we could hear cheering here and there and there're a group of people wearing custom made t-shirts supporting Hanis, what could i say more??

From the start, i've already mentioned i like her. Yes i know there're quite a number of people who said that she's not a model material, her face expression is quite dull. Well, i know nuts about modelling and i just like her for who she is in the show thats all. She was just fine throughout the fashion show. =)

Most of you already knew that Cindy won the competition. Cindy was the girl who provided us audience more flavours and spices in the show and she got quite a number of haters as i can see with hundreds of comments on her blog. I won't really say she cheated her way to champion, after all this is a competition is fully base on SMS voting, so she deserved the title.

i really have no idea what the 3 judges are doing on stage lolx. When they talk, the crowd was like "duh, zzzzz, sianzzzz"

Winning the title now doesn't really mean anything. Its just the starting point into the world of Modeling for many of the finalists of MDG, you wouldn't know, maybe Adeline would shine in the Modeling industry in years to come?? lolx..

Its a stupid competition which is fully base on SMS voting, but think again, a company doing these kind of show for the first time in Malaysia cant take a big risk. Having a competition that is fully base on SMSes will generate more income in such case. The company have to be responsible towards quite a number of parties including their sponsors. So by fully having a competition which is base on SMSes, they are playing a safe game.

Lets just hope that the girls will excel in what they do in the future as well as the show will get better.

Going to such events means that i'll be meeting people. I met quite a number of peeps including a friend of mine who is now working for TheStar as a journalist and covering on the MDG Finale event, IAN YEE.

Of course, bloggers will be there as well.. =)
