Earlier last month i went to Laundry Bar @ The Curve and attended a sneak peak session of what Digi is up to lately.

Being one of the blogger who attended the session, we were served with good food and free flow of drinks throughout the event. It was after all the bonding session that the rep from Digi came out giving us a clearer picture on what Digi's have for all of us recently.

Avril Lavigne fans out there could get her songs on the portal and people like me who fancy Da Mouth songs could get my share of songs that i like as well.

When you're finally done with your favourite songs, you could proceed to PERSONALIZE and
create your very own playlist. It will be like your own personal space where you could keep your friends updated on what you're doing as well with the portal’s shout out function. The best thing of all, you could make new friends by searching for people that love your kind of music as well.

An Attempt to get Nigel on Video.

Have you read Huai Bin's post on his love towards JunJunRiko? and i was actually pretty amazed by how he could manage to do so and getting her attention with just RM5. Argh. The music telegram idea is a pretty brilliant one. I wish i could be like Huai Bin. =(

Upon reading that there's this dedication section where i can select a song and dedicate to whoever i want, i clicked on the link almost immediately and started thinking of who to dedicate to.

You know? because if my dedication got selected, Digi will send a bunch of crew to perform the song i've chosen in front of my friend. Sound pretty fun & cool and i would love to see how my friend respond if that were to happen!!

and so, unlike people like me who fail all the time making dedications and expressing my thoughts to girls, i decided to make a dedication to somebody else!!

i bet he was laughing behind that mask during Nuffnang Halloween party last year!!

this specific friend of mine is somewhat a pro in recording videos already, bagging all the prize he could with the video clips he made, and its like all the time he's the one holding the camcorder and getting every other people into the clips and having a few laughs producing some really funny scenes of us all with US entertaining other people. =X

So, i was wondering what if there's a specific video clip that focus totally on him only, how will the video turn out to be? with him entertaining US that is!!


Just look at this dedication video posted on their site to some guy and this guy started dancing after 30 seconds!! HAHAHAHA

and after viewing some other completed dedication videos by the Digi Crew, i can't wait to see how will Nigel react!!

I quickly submitted the details for the dedication to Congrats Nigel on being the featured blogger of Jan 2009 which of course the ultimate objective is to hope that my dedication got selected with Nigel being recorded down on video! *evil laugh*

Credit cards. Whether you need it, or you want it, or you already have one.

Many people now own 1 credit card OR MORE. Even those who are schooling, their parents will sub them one. Unlike people like me who don't own one *sad*

So, for those who owns 1….
Are you like one of a person who will say"Hey!! Why the design of my card is sooooo UGLY!!?"

And every time when you need to use your card, you take your card out from your wallet/purse reluctantly......

you see a young dude(obviously a dude who's still schooling) standing at the next counter who’s using the same exact credit card and you feel like your card is like so normal and common that everyone have it. You have that insulting feeling secretly complaining wanting to be as unique as possible.

I’ve attended a survey conducted by a bank before in the past and I did voice out that if we can have our own unique design on a card its so much cooler but so far there’s no such move by the banks in Malaysia. Serious!

I actually hope that there’s a bank which will consider about the customers and give them the freedom to actually design their own cards.

and now God has "considered my thoughts and fulfilled my wishes!! "

He gave His wisdom to some people, where now i can personalize my own credit card! Yes! Meaning I can put whatever picture of whatever design on my own credit card!

No more ugly designs! Yay!!
I can put my dog, cat, ants, hamster, pillow, key chain, gadget, pet society pet whatever picture on it…Cool right???

Alright of course, by default, you can choose any image from the photo library itself. There are a few pictures to choose from, well, at least if that makes you happy. *smiles*

and of course this is what I’m talking about where when you wan to be more “younique”, you can actually upload your own pictures! Any pictures that makes you happy!! Hurray?
*you wouldn't want to put your gf/bf picture on it, you know, like a tattoo of your gf’s name, what happens when you break up? (of course, you can make a new card but you need to pay an extra fee to have it...)

but *AHEM*, no copyrighted imagery, provocative, lewd or sexual content - that means no nude or semi nude people of any age!, no celebrities, no violence or violent acts, no socially unacceptable or discriminatory behavior, activities or signs (drug/alcohol abuse).

If all these makes you happy, then so sorry I can’t help you. ;P

Alright, so then, you personalize your pictures, choosing which part of the picture you want it to be on the credit card.

So yeah, if you're happy enough with what you’ve done already, you can then order your card! It’s just that easy!!

Of course, it won't end there just like that. Alliance Bank wants to know more about YOU so that they are able to contact you on the process of your new personalize card!

Just your name, IC, Mobile number and Email address only... not that complicated right?

I guess it’s pretty easy to do so... and if you want to spend your time doing all the personalizing stuffs. You can go and download the application form.

But waiitttt!!!! Don’t go away. YET. You might think that by just having an own chosen picture as the design, it is not THAT interested.

Project You:nique

It was on the 10th of December 2008. The night where i met a few top bloggers in Malaysia. A pretty excited night where me, the stupid blogger of this lousy little blog meeting with some really WOW people of the blogosphere. A big thanks to Nuffnang and Alliance Bank for this very session i must say. xD

We were at this place, hQnine @ TTDI Plaza.



reached there and realized that i was like the very last person, bad me........ =(



and i spotted shy shy simon talking with Hanis!! Ahhhhhh Interesting! =D



Anyway, soon the session started and everyone was seated...



where there's a short introduction about the main topic of the night - You:nique.

Ken and Edmund, the 2 interesting speakers shared about some really interesting stuffs about the whole project and it was the very first of its kind if i'm not mistaken.

In the past, many people have been wondering about this very similar concept but nobody have do it before here in Malaysia. At least none that i know of.

Some graphical reference were displayed for a better understanding and its pretty interesting i would say. The whole presentation did attracted our attention. =D

other than giving attention, a few bloggers did voice out on the project itself and inquired here and there about it.

the session was pretty short and simple but its a rather informative session

Anyway, after the presentation, we were having our sweet time chit-chatting and of course, within expectation, these came along...
