review on Fatal Move 夺帅

yes i know this movie is around the cinemas for quite some time already, i only get to watched it on Monday night 24/03/2008.

after watching this movie, i would say that it was extremely disappointing..

yes they have "gang" scenes like this

they have fighting scenes like these as well

but the movie just sucks

the CASTS is good, with the likes of Sammo Hung洪金宝 and Simon Yan任达华,

THIS MOVIE SHOULD BE A GOOD MOVIE

but they have a BAD storyline!!!

its REALLY REALLY BAD!!!

since Infernal Affairs 无间道, Hong Kong movie industry failed to produced any NICE movies involving triads/gangsters. The later triad related movies after Infernal Affairs is either just nice or crappy.

older Hong Kong triads/gangsters movies are the best...

like the series of movies of Young And Dangerous 古惑仔, i believe many people out there ESPECIALLY guys agree with me on this!!

my rating for this movie is 4/10, if not because of the casts, i would rate it just 1 or 2 over 10...

if you haven watch this movie and you have the dvd/cd at home, just throw it away in the rubbish bin... lolx...

Liverpool !?!? CANNOT la!!!!

it was quite a night for many of us soccer fans yesterday

many mamak stalls were occupied with MAINLY ManUtd supporters watching the match between Liverpool and ManUtd eventhough the rain came again and again...

most Liverpool fans said that it was an unfair match with the sent off of Javier Mascherano leaving a 10 man team against a more superior 11 man ManUtd team

that incident happened at the 43th minute,

Liverpool fans, stop being in denial bah...

yes i agree that the Yellow card towards Mascherano was a bit too harsh and the impact was too big in a big match like this with a 3-0 win for Manchester United..

But Hey... Liverpool fans!!

You cant deny that Manchester United are on a more advantaging side creating much more chances/threats and etc before the sent off....

Gerrard and Torres was quite disappointing i would say...

they failed to make a difference...

allowing Wes Brown to score his 3rd goal in his career in ManUtd was crazy enough for the fans

it was his 1st goal in the last 3 years serving as a Manchester United player, i couldn't be more happy than that... lolx (being a ManUtd fan, i used to dislike Wes Brown)

my one and only respect for Liverpool is their keeper Reina, if it wasn't because of him, Liverpool could have a more uglier lost like Roma 1-7 lost to ManUtd last year!! o.O

what happen next was quite predictable then... with Ronaldo adding one more goal to his scoring spree this season

and a superb finishing by Nani which entertained us, ManUtd fans very much as well as putting a more O.O expression on Liverpool fans!!! =)

3-0 The final score of the match =)

On the other hand, 2 goals from Drogba allowed Chelsea to overtake Arsenal in the league table. Manchester United still have to be at their best in the next 7 matches and secure as much points as they can.

Go MAN UTD!!!

review on An Empress & The Warriors 江山美人

This is a movie with a storyline based in ancient China starring Donnie Yen 甄子丹, Kelly Chen 陈慧琳 and Leon Lai 黎明.

when i first saw the poster of this movie, i thought to myself that why on earth they go and find Leon Lai to act in this movie....

For me, Kelly Chan acting in this movie(with an ancient China story background) is weird enough, and Leon Lai came in somemore.... Swt O.O

anyway, i went for the movie just now...

and the only thing that encourage me to watch this movie is because of him

Donnie Yen 甄子丹

everyone knows he's good at fighting and i would like to see how he act and fight during ancient China time.

After watching the movie, i would say that they shouldn't find Leon Lai to act in this movie, he is just not suitable for this type of movie.

however i like the fighting scenes in the movie, i always enjoy watching these kind of fighting scenes like in The Warlords 投名状 and A Battle Of Wits 墨攻.

before i watch this movie, i have read news of how much hard work Kelly Chan have put in into this movie such as learning how to fight, fight with Donnie Yen on top of a tree trunk which is on the water and she personally did ALL the stuns and fights herself without any substitute actor/actress.

yes i saw her hard work in the movie, and i accepted the movie with her in it which i think it was strange previously

so my only problem on this movie is they SHOULD NOT find Leon Lai at the first place!!

Don't ask me why i think so... ><

maybe he's cheaper to hire bah compared to other stars like Andy Lau, Jet Li and etc.

thats just my view on this movie, maybe you would love watching Leon Lai in this movie.. who knows?? lolx

and btw, do you know the "uniform/equipment" they wore in the movie is like 40kg in total for each person??

so, you have to really pay attention on the equipments they wore, really nice!! =)

my rating for this movie would be 7/10
